Hi,
I've run into a problem when I try to render lightmaps for a new exterior level I've created:
After a few seconds the process stops and I get the following errors recorded in the log: -
Failed to submit lightmap layout [lvl name]
&
Job submission process failed with a return code of '-107374077'
I've been using the toolset for a while now, and I've never had any major problems rendering lightmaps - this is the fourth exterior level I've created. I have the right Python + extensions installed (or none of the other levels would've worked, obviously) and I've checked around but can't find any reference to the code '-107374077'.
So, help, please. I've done everything I did with my previous levels so I don't know why the lightmap is failing to render.
lightmap error code '-1073740777'

When I got this problem it was due to a specific model I was using. See this post: http://social.biowar...8/index/4696235
If you don't have that specific model, try setting all your models' lightmaps to false in the Object Inspector (you can select all of them and do this) and then turning a few at a time to true until you get the error. Narrow it down to the model causing the error and leave that models lightmaps=false while all other lightmaps=true.

Turtlecrunch, thank you so much - that was exactly the problem, and turning the lightmap option to false in the Object Inspector did the trick. Phew!
Though why the thread you linked to didn't show up when I did a search for this particular error I don't know ... But never mind. I can render my lightmap, so I'm happy. Thanks again.

I got this error by using the wrong version of Python (too new and 64bit).
You need version 2.5 32 bit.
Version downloaded here worked well:
http://downloads.act...leases/2.5.5.7/
