I'm running Mass Effect 2 off of steam on my computer. I'm connected to cerberus network and I'm getting the news feed and the updates on the new DLC. However, I cannot download the free content that was released awhile back. Or rather, I cannot find where to download it again. My HD corrupted a few months ago so had to reload everything.

Thanx Bravenu, maybe I'm just lazy or inattentive, but in this day and age, it seems awfully clunky, how Bioware handles this sort of thing. I wasn't able to find this through what Bioware tells me, had to follow your link lol.

thank you very much. I was unable to find those free downloads as well. With your link it is easy.
Anyway I am still unable to find these downloads by navigating.
best regards

so i already beat this game and JUST NOW found out how to download the Cerberus content.
This is terrible sauce. please use steam for DLC, your market is crap for crap and i would guess losing money.

There is even a "Tech FAQ" stickied at the top of the forum telling you how to do it. There are entries in the Steam forums telling you how to do it.
Stop blaming others for your idiocy and/or laziness.

really? is that the flow bioware wants for their product pipeline? prolly not i would guess. i would guess they also know it's **** but there are other factors preventing them from fixing it. by letting them know my experience perhaps it will encourage them to make a positive change.
The pipeline for their DLC is likely costing them sales
1. after buying on steam i had no idea the Cerberus code did more then the silly news updates, so i did not even know to look for a download.
2. once i knew there was a download i did a reasonable search of everywhere my purchases could have been hiding, took about a half an hour to find the right sub menu
3. if i have to go to the tech support forum to get my product someone has failed hardcore.
call me a lazy idiot if it makes you feel better (i'm guessing it does not)

Poor diddums.
1) You could have always, you know, read up on the product with trhe suplpied documentation, or failing that, check the official website.
http://social.bioware.com/page/me2-dlc
2) Half an hour? Took me 2 minutes when I first got the game.

3) Yes, you failed to think.

Just an FYI; I couldn't access the free DLC for ME 2, although it was showing me content for Dragon Age II, which I don't have registered, because I don't even have it. I had to contact "Live Chat Support", and whatever he/she did, my ME 2 DLC's did then show up. (DA II ones were still there tho)

Same thing on my end. I see Dragon Age II content (don't have the game), but nothing for Mass Effect 2. Just live support chatted, but the guy was no help at all. I'll try again tomorrow,

This is a "peer forum", gamer to gamer questions, comments, discussions of GAME technical problems. You have a SITE problem, but the forums are not where you get official support (read the thread you added your comment onto). You have to contact EA, via the link at the bottom center of the page.
