and for the person that said the alliance had something integrated in the VS survivors armor to give a little resistance to the swarm...didnt the alliance not even care/know about the collectors? i dont think thats the case.
but this is a good topic cause i wondered the same thing when i first saw them i screamed shoot him hes a spy or something bad like that lol

Just you wait, soon enough someone cunning enough will produce an audio recording that goes "Horizon was a major victory. The Virmire Survivor got us one step closer to finding Shepard."StarcloudSWG wrote...

The real question is why they're nowhere to be seen when you pass through that area later. There's nowhere they could be hiding...
2) As for Mordin's seeker, seeing as they're machines, it's logical to assume he simply built it using Veetor's scan data.

I'll trust a colony resident over Illusive Man, thanks.

Hmm, all I see on my pretty high end PC is a moving cloud of brownish kinda smoke moving round them, even when I stand right beside them. No seekers.
Those are the seekers.
I think the seeker in Mordin's lab was constructed from Veetor's data, it was way bigger than the seekers released by the collectors.
And like much of what happened in ME2 I just accepted the handwavium for the VS to show up at a convenient time. Though Kaidan was the one I saved on Virmire so I just assumed it had something to do with his biotics.

Yes, Ashley was one of the first to be paralyzed in that particular part of the colony. But "first" doesn't necessarily mean anything. The colonists were dragged off in relation to their proximity to the Collector ships. The closest ones were taken first. Ashley could have been one of the further bodies, and then Shepard arrives and chases off the Collector ship.
you know. what if ashley all of a sudden becomes indoctrinated after being paralyzed from the swarms? what better way for an enemy to gain the upperhand by having someone close to your oppenent be the chess pice in the emotional chess game when it comes to info about shepard and his history with ashley?

Plus, just when was was there time for he/she to be indoctrinated since it takes days in the presence, or inside a Reaper, to become indoctrinated? There was no time for it to have been done. Granted Harbinger takes over his minions, but they are already indoctrinated, cloned, and cyber enhanced Prothean puppets, not a free minded Alliance, L2 at least, biotic, if it is Kaidan. Now, a common soldier like Ash.. is another matter....

Afaik, you can see armour pieces on some body parts in the Collector ship.Zan51 wrote...
Perhaps it is simply that to make connections in the pod things - you know, those white, wormy looking things inside it, they need to NOT be wearing armor! Which means they would have to peel Kaidan/Ash outta armor before putting him/her into it - which means leave them till last.
Maybe they were just lucky. They have been pretty lucky in the past - Kaiden could have died instead of Jenkins, Ashley could have died along with many other soldiers in her unit, they survived Virmire and the other ME1 events, they escaped SR1...

Uh hu... and just when did they have the time to do that either? And return him/her to the planet, with no wounds and pain, or feeling as if anything had been done to him/her? Wishful thinking.
And I don't want my LI messed about with by the Collectors or anyone, thanks. Mine! Not theirs, mine.
