Instead of wasting a lot of credits and minerals on parts I don't need IE- the headshot visor, what upgrades/armor parts would you reccomend?

Note, I only have firepack dlc

I was thinking

5/5 tech damage?
3/5 biotic
5/5 damage?

I have the extra heavy  ammo part.....

You won't use a save-editor to net yourself tons 'o' minerals and "lods of emone"?

I'd invest in at least the kasumi DLC if you like playing the sentinel. Having your tech cooldown ready pre-horizon makes a huge difference. Otherwise you wont get the cooldown until after the collector ship mission.

You can mod all the things you've listed on the 360 with Gibbed's saved game editor.  See the modding the 360 thread, most info is in the opening post.  As well, some simple hex editing can get you all weapon/tech/health/shield/biotic upgrades as soon as you get the Normandy .

This. Plus, her Locust makes playing Sentinel much easier. You won't have a decent SMG until Haestrom without it (which is sadly after Horizon.)

+1 for the Locust. After getting Mordin and Garrus, I do the Kasumi mission right away for the Locust. I really don't like the Shuriken. The extra tech upgrade in nice, too. Even if you aren't a tech user, it helps for Mordin, Miranda and Garrus.

I swear by the Locust. It's the only gun I use. Normally, I'd go get it after I recruit Mordin and Garrus like JimL68 does. But, it's the first mission I do. Can't stand the Tempest. For some odd reason, when I'm shooting, it flies upwards. I literally had to aim towards the ground, to get the aim right. Never could figure that one out.

The trick with the Tempest is to completely ignore the crosshair, watch were the bullets hit (works best with ammo powers active) - you can be very accurate up to medium range that way. Locust is easier to use, but the huge clips of the Tempest compensate for the lesser accuracy.

And also the higher rate of fire of the Tempest, one of the best SMGs to kill Geth, Eclipse and Blue Suns.
And rip YMIR's shields. :)

But I prefer the Locust when fighting Blood Pack or in Tuchanka.
