do talents and equipment that give you health or stamina/mana regeneration work only outside of combat?  if so, that's pretty lame.  the reason i ask is i use leliana to sing her mana/stamina regeneration bardsong but the effects aren't even noticeable to me.  i haven't used it in awhile and her cunning has gone up a good bit, so maybe the bardsong is just really weak and requires a lot of cunning to be worth anything.
