Hi,

my Boot drive is seperate from my Home directory: i have one drive for each.

The DLC installer doesnt seem to detect this and keeps installing the DLC's in a Documents folder on the boot drive, when my home folder is on a totally different drive.

Ive installed everything while logged into this Admin account but i cant get it working... Anyone have an idea ?

Thanks
Xavier

No ideas, I've been having the same problem though. I even lost my DLC that came with the deluxe edition for some reason. I just tried a complete reinstall, and got the deluxe ed. stuff back, but no luck yet with my other purchased DLC.

The game is basically working in a PC state of mind, I know sounds weird, but that is what is happening. The game "saves" always go into the BioWare folder within the documents folder. To my knowledge there is NO way to change that. For example, I have 2 internal 2TB drives. I have one drive for my games, drive D and everything else on the other drive C. BUT, the game SAVE Files are still in the BioWare folder within the documents folder. Hope that explains it for yeah...

Which OS are you guys using?

Since you have plenty of drive space why not create a separate partition (or an external drive) with another version of Snow Leopard and your Home directory intact? Then install DAO on that. I really wouldn't expect a game that is engineered to work on 99.99% of standard installs to work on one with a custom Home directory on another volume. I'm not even sure why you would want to do that unless you have your system installed on a tiny drive, but these days huge drives are so inexpensive that you could install everything on an external 2TB drive and have oodles of space for all your videos and stuff, and with WAY less hassle than having a home directory on another drive.  If you're concerned hyper-concerned about security, use File Vault or an encrypted disk image for your private files.

For the record, I have played this game since it was released for the Mac, and have played all DLC with zero problems either with purchases or installations. I suggest a clean install of your OS, sticking with the defaults, and then a complete reinstall of the game.
