He's a super badass quarian from Ascension. Pretty mad with a shotgun. I imagined him as sounding like Paul Bettany for some reason... Fair enough about Anderson, but it would be nice to see a cutscene of him kicking all kinds of ass whilst giving orders.

As far as ME2 squad members are concerned, I wouldn't mind the opportunity to bring them all back because to be honest, I got really attached to that damn team. But thinking realistically it may not happen. Thane will most likely pass [unless Bioware decides to create a Kepral's Syndrome Cure DLC that a few people have been asking for], Mordin is somewhere around 80 in human years or something so chances are he's limited, and Zaeed; while yes, he was a DLC character wouldn't stay much longer now that he did what he was paid to do.
The other squadmates had reasons to leave as well as stay so most of them are just a toss up.
With the whole suicide mission at the end of ME2, the team was expendable[for lack of a better word]. You could have very easily lost 3 or 4 of them without meaning to. If Bioware decides to 'fill their roles' with fresh faces that would be fine but if you were one of the people who played through and lost no one; you wouldn't wanna lose that team but you'd also want to experience these new squadmates as well.
I don't know, its just my opinion. I guess we'll just have to wait till end of 2011 to find out whats gonna happen.
