I've had DAO since Saturday and no serious problems till today. Also had DLC, Toolset, and Patch 1.01a installed. I even successfully made a few item and script override mods via toolset that worked. I had gone back into the tooset to change a few items slightly (appeared OK). I then went to run DAO and start a new game. After a short 'loading icon", I got a pop-up of "Unable To Load Module".  My first thought was that my Toolset changes has messed up something.  So I cleaned out the two "...\\override\\toolsetexport" directories. I restarted DAO and got the same pop-up trying to start a new game.

My next thought was that I did something in the toolset (by mistake) that corrupted the DAO structure. I de-installed all DAO, ran Registry Mechanic, and then re-installed just DAO.  Still got the same error of "Unable To Load Module" (logged in or out made no difference).  Re-installed the patch (followed by doing the "VCredist-x86" thingie) and re-installed the toolset.  No change in error. Searched EA Support and here, looking for an answer. I found nothing but might have missed it.

Here is the DAO log extract from the last start attempt:

By the way, my system is a MACpro3,1 (dual-quad processor, 8GB-ram) running a Win7-64 partition with up to date drivers and patches.

Suggestions and/or solutions would be welcomed
TIA and Cheery Bye

you've tanked your single player module with the toolset...

Fix for strange issues with my game such as scripts not firing or party interactions not working and “Module will not load”

This is often caused by the Dragon Age Toolset. If you have the toolset installed and you’ve messed around with it (including beta versions), the toolset may be overriding the scripting of the single player experience. The fix:

1) Load toolset, goto tool > export > Empty Export Directories

2) FIND:

Windows XP: My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\modules

Windows Vista: Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\modules

*Delete the single player folder*

3) FIND:

Windows XP: My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\modules\\single player\\override

Windows Vista: Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\modules\\single player\\override

*Delete everything in this folder*

4) FIND:

Windows XP: My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override

Windows Vista: Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override

*Delete everything in this folder*

Thanks greatly!!! Your suggestions fixed it. What I had not already done was delete "Single Player" and had not deleted the empty "toolsetexport" subdirectories from the"override". Thanks to you, I now know what to do the next time this happens.
