Can I just say, they must be allowed to show breasts in these games because errr... hello? Broodmother? She had like, 6 on display. And a multiple chin. Not attractive (N)

Nudity is the best solution or at least a toggle with child lock.

There's already a child lock.  It's that big M on the box.

+1

17+ and you have to provide identification.
Funny how it is still not enough.

It is enough.

I'd like just one example of it not being enough that didn't arise from negligence.

Negligence is exactly why.

You cannot trust people and many parent likely feel that other parents may not keep a good eye on their kids and expose it to their own kid.

Not every parent wants to tell their kids you cant play with that person or talk to them anymore simply because of what they suspect.

I do agree that currently it is enough but many would disagree.

Technically it is enough. No amount of parental lock will help protect the children if the parents are careless enough to neglect the big M on the box anyway.

Honestly, I'd prefer at least implied nudity (using camera angles to not show anything "naughty") than characters keeping their underwear on when it's business time. That's almost as bizarre as those old 50's shows where married couples slept in seperate beds.

I'd prefer strict adherence to the Hays code.

This man speaks wisely.

Suggestive dancing of any kind is just... tacky.

That would remove the Dragon Age from existence.

Haha, yeah, the moral standards bit would get tricky.

Still, in all seriousness I think the best romance bioware ever did was Samara.

From my understanding is goes like this...
Fighting+talking= her saying she is interested in you then says the code take priority...where is the romance>?
Being friendly does not equal romance...
nevermind not DA related.

It's right there.

Or perhaps she had to embrace eternity for you to consider what transpired romance?

I don't see a problem with nudity as long as it's not "weird" or exploited for cheap laughs. Naked romances & naked Desire Demons? Yes. Walking around naked? No.

How about more than friendly chats+fighting.
Otherwise you could say you had a romance with jacob and the rest of them...
Friendly relationships do not equal a romance.

I very rarely go to kiss a friend and have them pull away.

I understand what you mean in theory, but I maintain that this amounts to more than a friendly relationship.

Not talking about dating here. Supressed or not, they have feelings for each other that are expressed in one way or another...you know what, never mind. Best not to derail the thread any further.

Why keep dragging the Victoria era (pretend) morals into the 21st century? But it's twisted standard when it's permissible to have blood and gore violence, but nudity or the suggestion of sex should be limited. Unless of course, I missed the Chantry codex on nudity standards.

It's a Mature rated game.
