We should get Furries...

It'll make all Garrus and Tali fans cry because their fandom cannot hope to compete aginst the might of the Furry Crowd.

These Forums would also get so much more active that way!

honestly i just blame the paucity of human love interests for all the alien lovin

if, in ME1, there had been 5 human ladies to choose from instead of Warrior Poet down below, then maybe they could have given tali's personality to someone from your own species. they didn't, so folks who didn't like ash or liara were left in the lurch. hence the tali/garrus love.

Actually it's because Tali and Garrus were written as straight up characters, with personalities and possibly undesirable quirks, instead of catering to the players as LIs. That's why they are better characters than the ME1 LIs and that's why the fans demanded them to be LIs in the sequel.

How are they better characters? Thats just a matter of opinion.

Why not just buy the space hamster on the Citadel and leave it at that?

I don't see why you would; the DLCs are stored on your computer and not on the broken disc.

We don't want furries in the Bioware community. That's why.

I hate to break this to you, but you -have- furries in the Bioware community.  We also have gays, lesbians, people from the American Way, and even some racial minorities!

But hey, if you want to continue hating on an entire generalized group of people because you don't get their kink, or because they're different, or because some individuals that share an interest with them got on your nerves, be my guest.

As for the original post, I don't really feel that much of a need to suggest that bioware go out of their way to pander or avoid any particular subculture.  As long as any species they design is interesting and unique and adds to the lore and the universe as a whole, I'm all for it, but I also don't really think campaigning for it will really accomplish much.

(Twist ending!  Tali has fur!)

I get the joke, but you realize there's a difference between body hair and fur, right?  Have you ever touched a fur coat?  Pet a fluffy cat?  It's a nice, soft texture, and I can certainly see the appeal of adding that sensation to the experience of snuggling up to a sexy woman.

Yeah, it's pretty weird that humans are the only ones that have hair. Granted we haven't seen an unmasked Quarian yet... But still.

Considering the HUGE following Garrus has in the furry subculture...

Hm.

Also:

Turians: Birds /w cat-like features
Hanar: Jellyfish
Drell: Lizards
Salarians: general amphibians

So techincally there are anthropormorphic races in the MEU. Just not in the traditional anthro sense.

so what dude actually want, is to have a recruitable james bond (when he becomes benjamin button at age 90/9 years old.. a futuristic protege of commander shepard of the universe: he's currently in good status, neutral zone), a recruitable han solo, and a recruitable wookie like furry chewbacca (yes).

we are all neutrally prospective future crew member of the perfect future...:wizard:
