[Obidex]

First off I want to say that she is an Amazing character and very
useful in almost any situation...not to mention wonderful writing and
voice-acting a true treasure to behold. But as they say it does not
come without a price..this isn't so much a complaint as it is a balance
issue.

For those of you who have not completed the game read no further




During
my final battle with the Archdemon through my own human error my Elf
mage/healer fell as well as the off tank alistair..the only remaining
were Oghren and of course Shale. Now I had sent Oghren off to man a
balista across the map should the Archdemon choose to move
locations..my reinforcements were depleted to almost null and it
basically came down to the Archdemon at Half health..and Shale...with
no healing spells at her disposal and all healing potions had been
used. You can imagine how this shouldve ended. It didn't:

Through
my own luck I had specced Shale to be a defensive wall. With High
strength and consituiton she spent her time all in Stone heart...while
you can imagine Bellow is no good at stunning the Archdemon the only
real weapon she had were her fists and the Stone Roar Regeneration
Coupled with her Large spirit crystal armor and  a small Brilliant
Natural crystal weapon..I assume the archdemon did alot of spirit
damage and that her abilities coupled with natural regeneration adding
in the regen bonus from her armour made it possible for her to outlast
attacks and regen to full health in no time. If the need did arise
after many stuns from the demon I could simply run away and regen even
through the spirit barrage from the Archdemon.

Now I'm not
complaining as this did save me hours of frustration but I do not think
it was intended for Shale to be able to 1 on 1 the Archdemon with no
healing or back up whatsoever..

Btw I was normal mode for console.

Yea, after I picked up Shale I wanted to respec Alistair into a 2H user because as a tank... wow. She just kicked arse and had me take names.
