Hey, I currently have the regular edition of DAO on PS3 and I'm thinking of getting the Ultimate Edition at the end of the month so can finaly play Awakening. So my question is, will my file from the Regular Edition be usable in the Ultimate edition?

I don't see why not, I have the collectors edition and thinking of doing the same thing for awakenings.

Doesn't always work though - there are deffo a few 'ultimate' editions whose saves don't work with the original editions. Would recommend getting confirmation from the devs.

Maybe because answers like these are always in the News and Announcements threads. Try heading over to that section and clicking the blue Bioware button beneath the thread title to see their posts.

I'm having trouble with this, too. I just purchased the Ultimate Edition and my original save doesn't seem to be showing up when I start the game. I can't find where it says anything about this and I've looked. Can someone tell me how I can play my original game on it or point me to where it says something about it?
