Dude.. you are quoting wikipedia entry, which I read before you did (that's why i asked). There is no clear evidence of feathers in 21 of them (only impressions). learn to comprehend not just read....

Which leaves us only one short of your requested 5. And those that didn't have straight up feathers had quill like protrusions that may have been feathers.

No Occum, it is you. Evolution states that dinosaurs turn into birds. That's a fairy tale to me.

It's a fairy tale to you because you don't know what you're talking about. A story involving a talking snake is a fairy tale to me.

Birds evolved from diapsids, the evidence of which we can see in its skeleton. I don't see why this should be so shocking. Birds lay eggs like reptiles, and even still have scales on their feet.

Anyway, I'm not a biologist, so I'm not going to have proof for everything. The difference is I'm not going to throw up my hands and say "well I'll just forget about it and just assume an invisible floating man created it all."

That tells you its not a "Proof" of feathers....

First off: You guys would be helpless without the internet. Secondly, you don't really read deeply.. just skim. I have no problems with it though. Carry on.... see ya.. good night!

I couldn't care, your posts are reported now.

Why are you reporting his posts?
You are the one who started this all and the one who has been continuing it.

...lolwut

Archaeopteryx, countless other feathered dinosaurs, and dinosaur collar and ankle bones beg to differ.

Wrong, even scientists say there is no evidence to support dinosaurs evolving into birds. Why? Because birds were created.

Oh, "scientists" say that, do they? Well other, actual scientists say otherwise.

I'm skimming because I don't have time to do a full thesis on weather they have feathers or not. Impressions of feathers indicate feathers.  And besides half the things in this thread are too funny to risk missing.

And as for needing the internet...didn't you just admit you got your information from the same article?

Anyway g'night.

What is so important about coming up with 5 examples anyway? What is so important about that 5th example, that 4 isn't enough? And even if he did come up with 5, would you or EJID change your mind at all? No, the whole exercise is pointless.

Whatever, believe what you want. Googling what I said will reveal that I speak the truth Occum's Razor. And KJandrew, I guess you missed the part where Alex admitted he started this.
I couldn't care. Some people here just better hope they don't get banned since they presented fine examples of spam that I reported.

IN AFTER THE LOCK.

This.

There are good arguments for both sides however with so little information about the science and the way the DA Universe works we can't possibly answer if there is or is not a Maker. We won't know for sure until see someone come face to face with the Maker or everything we know about the Maker is proven beyond doubt to be false.

Anything short of these is only speculation and opinion with unverifiable facts.

Oh yes, I'm sure there will be pages galore espousing your point of view. But being on the Internet doesn't imply truth.

Well if we stay true to the world of Thedas, maybe that's not neccesairily the case.
Tevinter Imperium was huge, it was a veritable, sophisticated (and cruel) empire. The experiment they did to enter the golden city was also huge. Hundrends of slaves died and 1/3 or so of Tevinter's lyrium went to that enterprise. To kill god. There are bound to be archives that detail such an enterprise. We don't need the chantry to find out about that.

And those archives would reveal that a bunch of mages sacrificed tons of slaves and a truckload of lyrium, disappeared somewhere, and darkspawn showed up sometime afterward. How that could possibly prove the Maker's existence is beyond me.

The chantry finding a way to enter the black city would be horrifying. I can only imagine it some how involve harnessing the power of the circle mages to open some portal allowing them unrestricted access to the fade.

Not only would the chantry get in, but...other things... might get out.

Yeah. The one thing that sells the idea of the Maker existing for me though, is the whole "soul" thing, and how souls can transfer between bodies (Archdemon). I suspect the blood might be the physical link.

Bioware definitely did a reversal in regard to Tolkien with the whole "god" thing in fantasy, and especially went away from something like C.S. Lewis... Although now that I think about it, it'd be pretty boss if Santa Claus showed up in a random encounter and gave you a bunch of legendary weapons for you and your party for being nice (Morrigan and Zevran types would just get a lump of coal, and Sten would just decline with a, "No").

Yet we haven't seen these archives nor do we know for sure what exactly happened. All we have is speculation but no evidence to support either case. Until we can actually read those archives or at least meet someone that has then we won't know for sure what they detail.

I actually think they entered and it was all fine. But then being all amitious and so close to so much power they started to fight about the Golden City, which, ultimately lead to its destruction.

Not entirely true. There is a LOT of information reagarding the Motives and the Beliefs of TI magisters. Read up one of the oft mentioned mega post from David Gaider.

Like Captain.subtle said, they wanted to overthrow the maker. I think it was because the Black City could be used as a weapon...or I could be thinking about another game.
