Would you have betrayed Liara if the choice had been her or the Shadow Broker's network?

Who even knew that the Collectors were the one to kill you at that point? What's the fixation on Shepard's corpse?

How does is recovering Shepard's corpse and selling it hurting Shepard? Lazarus wasn't even a known possibility until is suceded. Realistically, how does it hurt anyone?

WoW, keep your weapons down my friend, I'm working with the available information we have.
And the information we have is this, the Collectors want Shepard's body.

Of course they never tell us WHAT FOR, but regardless, this is the information supplied.

I think we will enter in the "lame story ME2 has" department, then.

...which really doesn't answer the question.

If you don't have a concern about the body, why list it's handover as major damning proof of something?

Well, it probably hurts anyone who doesn't want a clone of Shepard serving as a new form of Collector General for whatever the Reapers have in mind, or... something. It's not explained very well why Harbinger is so interested in Shepard, though.

Well, we can enter into the plot holes department if you want...

Why didn't the Collectors try to abduct the Normandy SR-1 crew instead of destroy them? First they want to kill Shepard, but now they want the body?
For what reason? Necrophilia?

How did Shepard's body remains intact during the descent into Alchera?

How come Shepard didn't show the recordings of the collectors on Freedom's Progress to the council?
They said they want "hard evidence", after all.

Why did the Collector Base only have one ship to defend itself?

We can go on forever if you want...

Not a plot hole, since it doesn't counter stated occurances and does have reasonable explanation. (Avoiding Alliance reinforcements.)

How did Shepard's body remains intact during the descent into Alchera?

Not necessarily a plot hole.

How come Shepard didn't show the recordings of the collectors on Freedom's Progress to the council?

Video recordings in and of themselves aren't proof: Tali's only was from the geth memory core it came from, not simply a video recording itself.

Why did the Collector Base only have one ship to defend itself?

That's not a plot hole either.

It only needed one ship to carry out its work before the Reaper plan was shattered.

We can go on forever if you want...

Since you can't even address the point, and don't even bring up actual plot holes, why bother?

I'm seeing a lot of the same issues with the Shadow Broker: He's untrustworthy, he tried to sell you body to the Collectors (and by extension the reapers) that he's a giant gorilla-frog monster, yadda, yadda, yadda.

Well yeah he sold your dead ass to the Collectors, you were dead, and there was money to be made. the Shadow Broker is a buisness...thing, and as such is only in it for the money and his survival.

He's what's called a True Neutral: no sides, just his.

It's not a matter of trust, but wether you have something he wants and if your survival is benifcial to him.

Kill Liara, and he'll let you use his information network to stop the reapers. Afterall, his life hinges on Shepard's success.

Personally, I'd betray Liara, beacuse I'm kinda a douche like that. That and I'm siding with the guy who has an info network so huge you can't even sneeze without him knowing about it.

What? I already cheated on Liara with the sickly spess gypsie, might as well add "backstabber" to my list.

There is a lot of plot holes in the game and a lot of things don't make plain sense if you use your brain a little.
If this questions aren't plot holes what they are?

Also, I noted that you are simply arguing for the sake of arguing and not to try finding consensus of the subject or point.
