Yeah, Eamon even basically tells Anora she should have just sent her information over with Erlina instead of making them rescue her. He's clearly never going to be on her side. Also probably because she knows Eamon would always back Alistair over her, what with his Theirin bloodline hang ups.
Which doesn't really matter, the final say is ours and I think Anora realised this.
Eamon was the one who called the Landsmeet, Alistair was a tool to strengthen our claim, but you are the key player. Both Loghain and Anora realise this imo.

The Wardens being neutral certainly doesn't give them a say in the politics of other countries. They are supposed to stay out of it, hence Riordan not interferring except when proposing conscription. I don't think Eamon defers to you because you are a Warden. But because you are the one holding the cards (and the army), so to speak.
It's you that confronts Loghain directly, not Eamon. In fact Loghain didn't even bother to give Eamon that much importance, he says you are the puppeteer, the one pulling the strings. In Loghain's mind, it's clear that it's either you or him that will lead. Eamon is not that important.
The fact that Eamon listens to you is because you are important. He can't ignore you. You on the otherhand can do the exact opposite of what he wanted. And he will have to abide by it.

I find it rather odd that you quoted me saying that all three of the dialogue options including the "Let's go" one leads to this line and then say that you have no idea if the other options lead to this line. They do. You always hear this. Anora always tells you this. If she didn't tell you then you might decide to reveal her to her own people and think that that would be okay. Given that they're her own people, it would be an understandable mistake to make and thus she clarifies 100% of the time that you aren't supposed to tell anybody. Given that Cauthrien is one of her father's people, she would be twice as likely to take Anora to her father which she says would be a bad idea.
I was confusing this line with the one where Anora explains that there two kinds of people in this household (ie; Estate); those loyal to Howe, and those loyal to her. It helps explain and empasize this following line concerning her mindset.
The speed at which folks post also makes for miscommunication. While I am responding to one post or idea, a few others may have appeared by the time my two fingers have completed mine.
