(posting this as possible heads up for the level builders, mostly)

By default the models of Ferelden architecture are split into few separate sets -- castle, village and city to name a few. While the sets use similar textures, there's enough difference between the textures to make any attempts to mix and match in single level models from multiple sets difficult, as the difference in styles become obvious.
This modification adjusts texture mapping and tones for some of the models, in attempt to make the matching easier and the end effects more seamless.
notes and known issues:
---------------
given the nature of changes, the mod alters appearance of default Denerim and Redcliffe Castle.
the overall colour/pattern scheme was adapted from fort model fce_estwall05

This is certainly an interesting effort but I'd prefer not to overwrite the existing models.
I guess renaming the models in the zip file and assigning the new texture files you've included should be sufficient for that?

It's unfortunately bit more complicated than that -- the name is also contained in .msh file itself, so it'd need to be adjusted with the Toolset. Then, the associated .mmh and .phy files for each mesh would need to be copied and renamed/adjusted in the same way. Then, the associated .met files would need to be given the same treatment, too. Then it should work. ;s
