On a more serious note I'm still in love with the little bit of music the podcast ends on.Is that new for DA2 or something I missed from the Origins soundtrack?
I think it's the first song that plays during the end credits, isn't it? Well, a remix version of that song.
It's the bow-chica-wow-wow music that plays when you're getting intimate in your Kirkwall pad.

I think some sort of fade+'real world' convergence that was mentioned earlier would be way too much. I don't even know all that much about the status quo yet, let alone feel any need for a drastic all around change. This threat of hasty change makes me want to play a strictly conservative Hawke!
Edit: The focus on companion quests sounds absolutely awesome, by the way!

About the end song, if you have the special edition of Origins, it is the last track on the included soundtrack: "I am the One (DJ Killa Jewel Remix). There are a couple of other nice mixes of the song on iTunes too.
Cool thanks for the clarification Victor! *goes to hunt it down*

I had Dalish related questions (no surprise there), though one is more general in nature, just in case a dev passes by and is feeling generous and has some time to burn and all that.
David says that the we will see the clan the PC can originate from in DA2...I've always wondered if Mahariel is the clan name, or is a last name within a seperately named clan. We know that the Dalish are the descendents of the noble elven families - are clans individuals families/retainers that escaped together, or groups of families that escaped together and banded together as a clan?
The more general one - there is mention that choices from Origins would affect who we might see in DA2...is it possible for individual origins to affect that as well? It would, for instance, seem to not make much sense to see the PC's potential clan close to the time of the coronation ceremony in the game of a Dalish PC since the clan apparently comes to Denerim for the event, though events before or maybe even after that time period could be explained. Another thing that one could potentially imagine impacting their presence is the Dalish-specific boon, in which case one might imagine the clan staying in the Hinterlands.
There's no need to comment on the specific cases presented, but I am curious if the origin of a game can affect events throughout DA2.
I, too, have been wondering this. And if it's not the clan name, then what is the clan name? What is Zathrian's clan's name?
Is the podcast more or less spoiler-free? I'm debating whether or not to give it a listen..

For the Dwarves, for instance, we're dealing a lot more with the surface Dwarves in the Free Marches. We're not going into any underground Dwarven thaig.
From the transcript...this makes me a very sad panda indeed.
