I've started the game a few minutes ago, and there was this update to the game: version 1.06.
Searching the internets, I got nothing about this, not even through twitter or any other "official channels".
So, when do you guys are gonna update us about this?
What's new in 1.06 patch?

Maybe the Witch Hunt dlc fix?
In the Witch Hunt DLC announcement post, towards the end, there was reference to the PS3 patch going live. (not an official announcement or anything... but posts leading to that conclusion)

I just replayed Witch Hunt on a previously bugged save, and Morrigan did indeed acknowledge we performed the Dark Ritual. Seems this patch has fixed it.

I am guessing all Euro players?
According to Fernando Melo the patch went live for PS3 lastnight in Europe.
no word about US/Canada yet.

So this isn't going to screw up my current Origins playthrough, right? If it resets any counters or anything, I'm going to murder someone.

BIG PROBLEM!
I just downloaded the new 1.06 patch for Dragon Age Origins and it i lost all of my AUDIO! When i exit the game the audio is fine for everything else, but i lose it when i start Dragon Age on the PS3. I was totally looking forward to killin some darkspawn. But its not fun at all without audio!
Anyone got any suggestions on how to fix this?

Does this patch by any chance forbid/fix the infinite money or duplicate items exploit?
I'm quite reluctant to download it for I don't want to lose such helpfull exploits.

Egads ... here we have update 1.06, and we still have bugs like THE central character of a DLC not remembering the result of THE culminating event they were created to fill.
As a former QA engineer and software version control system platform admin (not at the same time), I find BW management's seemingly lacadasical approach towards bugfixes to be both inexplicable and at cross purposes with the goal of enhancing product reputation and improving customer satisfaction. Grated it's difficult to get an accurate feel from the outside looking in, but then again, it's usually a truism that the best way to judge people and corporations is by the results they achieve, and in that regard I can't help but feel somewhat underwhelmed on this point.
BTW, from past professional experience (and a process auditor), the usual reason for the lack of progress on things like this is budgetary. In most instances, a dev team in a corporation can only work on bugfixes for a particular product if they've been given budget and direction to do so by the people who approve their timesheets. Accordingly, people here should try to resist the nautual urge to blame the slow pace of such fixes on individual developers ... that's not being fair to them.

Hi, let me ask you. I have dragon age origins version 1.03 and awakening, leliana's song, darspawn chronicles. waredns keep and return to ostagar, but i don't have the CD. So the last time i wanted to update the game to version 1.04 it said that it was successful but it disabled the ''other campaign'' button and I was unable to play DLCs. ALL OF THEM
and the solution was reinstalling the whole game. So the question is: Is updating the game to version 1.06 going to fu*k up my game like the 1.04 update? Cause I don't have the CD. I want to now this because my witch hunt, stone prisioner and golems of amgarak won't work on version 1.03 or less.... PLEASE HELP .....
