DA2 will be a simpler game then it's predecessor, and that's what the mainstream wanted

Nonsense. The other threads were closed because they degenerated into arguing over what defines an RPG, like every second thread on here.

I'm not clear what supports the idea that DA2 will be simpler than DAO. VO'd protagonist is different, not simpler. Only one origin is shorter, not simpler. The game still needs different races even if Hawke can't be one, so there's no simplicity there. The description of how talents works makes them sound more complex, not less.
