1. Open the DA Updater program.
2. Drag the .dazip into it.
3. Select it and hit install.
If that doesn't work, check the documentation on the specific mod - since the project space doesn't accept anything except for images and .dazips, some mods require you to open the .dazip in an archive program and do something else with the files inside.

Or if I do it manually, it shows old file locations as if its not keeping up to time with the system.
Is this when you do the open-the-updater-and-drag-it-in thing?
Could you screenshot what it looks like?
Also, what mod are you trying to install?

And the drag and drop never worked for me.
What do you mean by "never worked"?
Did it give you an error message? Just nothing happened? Something else went wrong?
Incidentally, this is why I hate working tech support - it's actually quite hard to get someone to give you a clear description of the problem.

Are you sure it's a mod that needs to be installed by the updater? Try reading the mod documentation again. Or link us to which mod it is.

I get that it says it works, but it never shows up in the content in the game.Jab0r wrote...
Instead of trying the drag method, what happens if you open the updater, click the "Select DAZIPs" button at the bottom, and select a mod?

And once you've installed it, you did go to the "Installed Content" tab in the DLC menu in-game and checked that it was enabled, right?
