Not really a technical issue, but this forum seems the most appropriate.

How would I access the music used in DLC, specifically Lair of the Shadow Broker? I know there are a few tools out there that extract all music from the vanilla game, but none of those seem to cover DLC content. I managed to find most of it on the internet (which proves it's possible), but I still need three short clips of music to complete my LotSB soundtrack mp3. Help would be appreciated.

Also, if this is somehow illegal, I am... sorry? :P

No, sorry. Gibbed hasn't updated his extractor yet :-( And BioWare is too uptight to help the fans with that. Illegal? No idea, but I wouldn't care anyway, since I want it only for private use.

well... im not sure about illegal... you purchased the game so logically you should have access to the music. considering it is included.

Not illegal. Bioware just says by using it, your saves "may" not work (transfer) in ME3. But that is more of a, "if you mess with it, it voids your warranty" type of thing.

The audio extractor doesn't mess with the savegames at all. You must have mixed it up with the coalesced.ini tools ;-)

Thanks for the replies, everyone.
If it is impossible to get to, how did several people on YouTube as well as our very own Pacifien in a thread a while back get most of the LotSB music? Recorded straight from the game? Heh, there's an idea...

http://social.biowar...47266/3#4793161 has some tips, but I haven't tried it myself.

That works like a charm. Thanks! Thanks to kaskouka too (bumping that thread just to say that seems a bad idea).:)
