2nd run-through, playing Blood Mage.  Doing everything I can do get most experience (which this game really limits things with that mindset).


So I agree to pour the High Dragon blood onto Adraste's ashes.  First, I attack Kolgrim and his lackeys outside the fallen temple (want the experience, plus items, plus another Drake scale; gives me 7 now).

Go in, get the ashes, but Leliana is with me, gets mad, so I kill her.

Go back outside, no one there (already killed Kolgrim).  Me (blood mage), Sten, and Shale kill the High Dragon. (Easy difficulty) 


QUESTION:  WHAT WOULD I HAVE GOTTEN FROM KOLGRIM IF I HADN'T KILLED HIM, BUT HAD JUST POURED THE BLOOD ONTO THE ASHES AND RETURNED TO HIM? (Reaver spec, what else?  Anything?)

1.  Can I KILL HIM AFTER he gives me whatever he gives me?
2.  THEN blow the horn, calle the dragon, and kill it?

WOULD THAT WORK?
