granted, you're going to need all 4 characters in battle sometimes, but that is not my point. My point is, I've always like it in rpg's where I'm close to winning an intense or mediocre battle, and my party members are finishing up the lone enemy soldier or something. While 3 of them do mop up duty and kill the remaining enemy, I will chill with my main character and finish my pizza hot pocket, or loot the other dead monsters while my party finishes the rest off.
i know you guys know what i'm talking about. This is an rpg pro at his best.
do you guys like to chill and have your other 3 party members do all the work for you?

I will not be doing this unless I am certain my other party members can handle the rest and I have something I rather be doing.

I usually keep my supporting characters equipped with ranged weapons and my main with close combat weapons. I like to take care of my dudes and make sure nothing hurts them...
...is that healthy?

It's usually me doing all the work, but hopefully I can change that.
If the game is challenging enough, that is.

jesus, were you even listening? I said my other 3 party members will be doing mop up duty and finishing off the remaining lone enemy. It would be clear there is no chance of us losing the battle, so why not just relax, take a few bites out of a hot dog or something, and watch your 3 party members dominate.

because, it is relaxing. it soothes the mind. They are your party members and fight alongside you.

i do not understand why you would play a game and decided to stop playing for a few seconds so you can relax....stop playing if the game is not fun or relaxing. You would have to be a little frustrated or something for it to soothe the mind...
