The Normandy is destroyed and Commander Shepard, the hero of the battle of the Citadel is assumed to be 'killed in action'. The devastating news is soon forgotten as you are swept up in the events that follow. Engage in battle against yet unknown forces or simply try to do your best to stay alive through it all, it's up to you now. Recruit a team to stand by your side as you explore the galaxy and unravel the mysteries that lie ahead.

Mass Effect Chronicles is a free fan-made RPG that is completely compatible with the canon of the Mass Effect universe, and features the events that took place between Mass Effect 1 and 2 from the eyes of a turian, a salarian and an asari.

  • Mass Effect Chronicles features a compelling story with artistic cutscenes and 3 playable characters with several recruitable squadmates.

  • The 100% new artwork and game art gives the spotlight to locations from ME1, ME2 as well as some unique to MEC.
  • Feel free to explore the deep corners of the Milky Way, with planetary exploration, an upgradable ship as well as an interesting and unique mining system.

Been following this for quite a while (since it began as "The Turian Project"), can't wait to play it!

A few questions, if you don't mind -

1. Will there be resolution options? Or the ability to play it windowed-mode? The art is sweet, but I'd prefer to play it in a small window rather than scale it to full screen and have things get blurry.

2. Does the game engine you use support voice overs for dialogue?

:)

I will actually create a thread in the forums so that developers can answer any questions stated here. They won't always necessarily reply, though, they are busy and some stuff might change till the very last minute. ;)

well, there's no harm in having the answers here as well as on the MEC forums, I guess
for the moment I can only provide an answer to the first question tough

the resolution is set at 640x480, but it is possible to play in a window that size, so it doesn't get distorted to fit a larger screen, especially if the screen is 16:9 or 16:10

pshh I always go with the asari in the ME universe, but I'm always an adept too. (Except for my revenant soldier... that's a guilty pleasure)

You just happen to be combining my favorites ^^

Looks and seems to play great. I never played any game with that type of battle system, but I might go ahead and try this. It looks awesome.

Looks very interesting. Any way I can get hold of the artist who did the art of Vazill? Dandzialf, I assume from the credits?

Indeed it is. You can join our group here:http://social.bioware.com/group/1505/ Also, for a chance for you (sorta) to be in Mass Effect Chronicles, you can post entries to the 'Mass Effect Diaries' game here on the MEC forums: www.mechronicles.com/forums/viewtopic.php
