Hello and welcome to the General Discussion Forum for the Mass Effect series. Any discussion not pertaining to specific details of campaign quests, storylines, and characters to either Mass Effect game is acceptable in this forum. NO SPOILERS ALLOWED. If you find spoilers in a thread, please send a PM to the Mass Effect forum moderators so that the thread can be moved to the proper forum or deleted from the thread.

Please follow these simple guidelines if you would like to ensure your thread is not locked.

1. Observe the Site Rules at all times. Consider reading the Site Rules your first warning. You may not get a second one if you are found to be in violation. Threads that have a multiple posts that violate the Site Rules tend to be closed.

2. Please skim through the first few pages of the forum to see that there is not already a thread that's been created for your intended topic. If a thread's theme overlaps with another, one of them will be locked. Which one is locked is by moderator discretion, but it tends to be the one created second. However, particularly old threads (ones that have not had responses in several months) tend to get locked in favor of creating a more recent thread.

3. Information that BioWare releases for Mass Effect 3 is not considered a spoiler for the General Discussion forum at this time. There will be a Mass Effect 3 forum as more detailed information is released. In the meantime, if you want to avoid spoilers for Mass Effect 3, don't click on a link that as "Mass Effect 3" in the title.

4. If you have an issue with any of the posts, fellow forum users, or moderator actions on this site, please feel free to send a moderator a PM. Moderators' time on these forums can be limited and they may not be able to read every single post, so we depend on the forum users to provide feedback.
