This is what I got everywhere.

I'm using 1.02 patch and Nvidia 460 GTX with the latest beta VGA driver. I didn't OC my 460 and it works fine in other games.
CPU isn't OCed, too.

I wonder what can cause this besides the beta driver.

What happens when you revert to the last "pre-Beta" driver?

I had this issue as well, what I found was that I had created a profile in nvidia controller to always enable ambient occlusion, which does not work worth a damn in me; so create a mass effect profile and turn ambient occlusion to off... problem should be fixed.

I got this irritating issue as well when upgrading my NVidia drivers (to 260.89), but got rid of it when upgrading the drivers once more (260.99). The game also seems to run a lot smoother when the 3D settings of the graphics card are set for the particular program rather than globally.

I've still got that problem even with the new Nvdia drivers. And for some reason I can't access the Nvidia controll panel. It just keeps asking me to install the latest drivers.

You should try to make a clean reinstallment of the latest drivers.

I have 260.89 on a 9600 GT and also have this problem. I'll upgrade now and see if that fixes anything.

Edit: 260.99 removes this problem on my PC as well.

I wonder why the 261.00 won't "fix" it.

I had the same "blue textures" in my game. After updating to the most recent nVidia drivers its solved the problem...
