Are there any sellers who sell an unlimited amount of ingredients? I know the dude in the elven camp has got unlimited elfroot and toxin extract... but how about things such as fire crystals or frozen lightning? I'm having a hard time finding those type of ingredients for poison crafting. Does this imply you can only craft so many things in the game? Or have I just not found the right vendor?

I can't say with complete certainty, but in my opinion you should only be able to craft so many items. Otherwise people will roll with stacks of 99 Health Poultices and it would defeat the purpose of strategic retreats, lol.

Pretty much every vendor with 99 of an item in stock actually has an unlimted supply, in my experience.

Lyrium Dust - infinite - Mage Circle vendor



Dalish elf area - infinite - Elfroot



Your own camp - Infinite - Flask / Distilled Water





That's pretty much all you need,.. Made 99 of the standard lyrium potions,.. and I ran out after doing the Dwarf area / Landsmeet / End of the game area



I was so worried when I had 1 lyrium potion left entering Denerim, but thank god there is a lockpick chest with 10+ greater lyrium potions, just enough to make the final fight possible. hehe.

Erm, you can roll with stacks of 99 Health Poultices if you really want to, but having a lot of Poultices doesn't guarantee victory, not to mention that strategic retreats are impossible in DA:O as soon as your first character falls, normally even sooner, considering that many enemies follow you relentlessly and you can't exit maps while in combat.

I roll with 99 potions if possible, simply because it means I don't have to re-stock later on, they all get used up eventually.

There are alot of vendors that sell unlimited mats..just different vendors sell different ones..and just FYI..if you kill the elves you can't get unlimited Elfroots anymore..as far as I know.

I never said I personally wanted to roll (with intent to rush and Poultice-spam) with 99 Health Poultices, just that all those people complaining about having to use tactics, or unable to use them would (all those whining topics, ha ha). I agree it doesn't guarantee victory, but I bet it would help them a fair bit. I've retreated from enemies before - granted, they were Ranger/Archer Darkspawn under Orzammar, so maybe they have a tactic to stand ground, although I've pulled a few away before.

Or in Redcliff, it's possible to strategically retreat there too, albeit at the expense of many good soldiers dying, .

Well... I'm pretty sure I've been to all the vendors... maybe not... but I can't find unlimited of any poison related things like fire crystals. Best bet so far is unlimited deathroot and venom poisons due to the elven merchant.

I know where the fire crystals are. It's in Deep Roads.



Unlimited Fire Crystals - Ruck(mad dwarf) in Ortan Thaig. You must first convince him that you are not trying to steal his "treasures" and ask him to trade with you.

Boy did I learned that the hard way, I helped the WW early in the game and struggled to find Elfroot for the rest of the game.

Great, that means I'm going to have to level my Rogue up so that I can convince Ruck... O well, atleast rogues get a new skill point every 2 levels. I'm trying my 3rd playthrough as a Saboteur, (1st I was an Elf Archer, second I was a Dwarf 2 hander) using mostly just traps, grenades and poisons for my daggers. so far I've completely laid waste to all in my path. Fire bombs + large shrapnel traps + a few lures + spring traps to fill gaps in between shrapnels, and pelting fire bombs at them while they're down. Its awesome.
