Anyone else tried this? 3 cunning rogues running this at the same time. As far as I understand it, here's how it works (correct me if I'm wrong).

Rogue 1 uses SoC, all 3 rogues get the buff.
Rogue 2 uses SoC, Rogue 1 and 3 now have 2 buffs, Rogue 2 has only his own.
Rogue 3 uses SoC, Rogue 1 has 3 buffs, Rogue 2 has 2, Rogue 3 only has his own.

I've confirmed that Rogue 1 certainly gets all 3 buffs, which is absolutely insane.

I also set tactics to use Flicker on groups of enemies. 3 rogues doing this at once is hilarious to watch. I call it "rogue pinball". The game basically plays itself at this point

And here I was thinking I didn't have to take Bard because I always had Leliana in my party.

Like I said. It stacks, sort of. If you have two bards, then the first bard to use SoC will gain two buffs, but the second one will only get one.

It's one of the ways used to make (nearly) every arrow a critical hit. Use gear to up attack speed and you can drop things fast. Only have to watch incoming damage/resistances.

Song of Courage rocks. But if I had 3 bards in my party I would have one of them using Captivating Song in almost every battle. That would definitely not be the main character but it would probably be the one with the highest cunning score.

I more like 4 x Rally

Rally doesn't add damage and crit though. It's a good buff, but it doesn't match SoC. Particularly the extra +damage from SoC is powerful.

Warrior/Champions with or without Rally cannot score 4080 damage in just one hit like my Rogue/Bard just did against the High Dragon outside the Mother's Lair.

The biggest problem with Song of Courage is the sound Sigrun makes when you activate it. The best advice I can give is to activate another Song of Courage JUST after it so it drowns it out somewhat

I just finished a 3 archer + Shale playthrough, and i must say that having three rogues stack SoC is indeed effective. Like you said you can only get three stacks on one character which was also my pc. By the end of the game with all rogues being cunning bards, his base dmg was increased by something like 15points and a tonne of crit. I had started the run out with two archers being rangers, but that got annoying quick, three bards is by far more effective.

termokanden - Is there a circle of effect for SoC, like there is for Rally, or does it just automatically affect every party member? If the former, does it make a difference if the three Bards start outside each other's circle of effect, then activate SoC, then come together...?

All party members are affected by Song of Courage at any range on the map.

Well I prefer it this way. I still wonder why they couldn't just make it stack normally or not at all.

I cant get SoC to stack, even on a non-rouge party member.
I suspect it has to do with me adding Zevran through console command,
since i kill him on sight usually.
Another strange thing was that he only had two skills at lv 25,
so i had to buy a tome of physical techniques to make it to SoC, no other skills was used but the bard line.
Or is there any cap on how much SoC can give ? i pumped up Leliana to 80 cunning.
