It's even more ironic and twisty if Shepard has a sole survivor background.smudboy wrote...
Also, it's ironic Shepard is working for Cerberus! Zee twist!

Isn’t it ironic that Shepard kills pyjacks to get a discount on Tuchanka if you did the paragon path on the UNC lost module mission in ME1?
Isn’t it ironic that Shepard doesn’t have his/her own loyalty mission?

Wait, are you telling me that if you wipe out all the pyjaks on the UNC: Lost Module mission or something Ratch's pyjak mission in ME2 is unavailable?
That sounds like an awful lot of work. There are lots of monkeys on that mission.

I killed all pyjacks on Elethania I could spot. I killed them with the Mako's main cannon, and the machinegun. I killed them with the sniper rifle and with the rifle butt. I also ran over some in the Mako. That was a hell of a space safari. And then I helped the Urdnots a little with their vermin problem. That was fun too. I didn't punch the cute one in the lab though.

I don't feel the least bit Canadian, when I say "out" it rhymes with "trout". I don't have the hip Canadian pronunciation.

But no, no. I did the paragon path of that mission.
I spent 3 long maddening hours searching for the lost module. I didn’t kill a single monkey and when I finally found it I was damn proud of my achievement. And now I find it very odd that this kinda thing exists in ME2.
In my first ME2 playthrough, my Shepard needed the discount in order to save the galaxy. It was awful
Back on topic, isn’t it ironic that Space Jesus has 12 followers?

I just thought of a potential one:
Isn't it ironic that in stopping Kolyat that Shepard's saving a politician who's campaign probably includes revoking his/her Spectre status?
Not really, I shoot that bastard, even when I have the paragon interrupt. At the end of the day, its better to be rid of a potential problem before it manifests than it is to take the high road.
Besides, he thanks the Thane for saving him if I help him stay alive, so I know from metagaming that he won't exactly change his ways.
Isn't it ironic that Wrex used the destruction of the cure for his people's biggest ailment to take control of the species?

Not really, you get the discount for completing Grunt's loyalty mission, not punching the Pyjak (at least not that I know of).
As for Legion's name, quite possibly, given that demons are basically souls of some sort and the man in the bible from which that was quoted was possessed by several demons.
And it would be awesome if Shepard had a loyalty mission.

Ooooh, very good point. Not only that, Jesus teamed up with Legion, thus betraying God/Council.
Implications infinite....

I sort of agree, but to be fair, the name sovreign was given to him by saren and the heretics not sovreign himself. It would have made more sense to us if the reapers were named after their roles, but they are not, sovreigns proper name was nazara. Harbinger is just called that by us cause he keeps repeating that word over and over.

Isn't it...funny (not really ironic or contradictory) that Thane says he can't tell the difference between dark red and black, but his Alternate Appearance pack is an outfit primarily in dark red and black? Clearly the man was thinking he bought a stealthy assassin all-black ninja suit.
That never occured to me before you said it.

No, it's in one of his normal "Investigate" options you have when there's nothing else to talk about. Here.
