Jacob: Sorry Mr. Prize, but you get whats coming to you- left him to the hunters.

Miranda: She made her choice and plugged Niket- Did make her talk to her sister though.

Mordin- Maleon is dead, data is kept may need it later on to use as a bargaining chip.

Grunt-All choices were made by him, I did get a laugh seeing him tackle Uvenk though.

Legion- Rewrote the Heretics,- should not have been on a paragon/renegade scale though like the Franklin Moon base mission.

Tali- Crowd rallied, and peace encouraged. I did tell Han though since he might be able to stand up to Xen better, her email really didnt do much to encourage me.

Jack- Aresh spared, she dosent need to live like that, and I am trying to help her.

Samara- Morinth is splattered and all is well in the world now.

Zaeed- Sorry mate, but Im not leaving innocent people to die in a fire, I do think he does some thinking later on after you put a gun in his face though.

Kasumi- Kept the Grey Box, might have something important in it.

Thane- Used Paragon distraction, Turian is alive, and Kolyat is working for Bailey.

Garrus- Sidionis gets a chance to talk and Garrus kills him in the end. I left him to decide.

I'll write for my primary character, a very Paragon female Shepard.
Jacob: His father is arrested, taken off the planet humanely.  My team is better than to instill revengeful punishment.
Jack: Don't kill Aresh, though i doubt he survives the blast anyway.  It's a risky chance since he could survive and could end up kidnapping some children, but it's worth it.  As powerful as Jack is crazy, she'll be even better if she is mentally stable.
Garrus: I didn't like it, but I let Sidonis go.  It was mainly because I knew it was the Paragon route.
Mordin: Certainly doesn't kill Maelon, and the research is kept in the hopes that some good can come.
Miranda: I didn't let her kill Niket, and of course convinced her to talk to her sister.  How weak she seemed at that moment, aww.
Zaeed: Definitely saved the people and gave him tough love when the beam fell.  He came around.
Legion: While I feel like rewriting the Heretics was the correct decision for my Paragon route, I am unsure if Legion can truly be trusted.
Samara: This is a weird choice, because you are flat out taking a gigantic gamble the moment you turn on Samara.  Morinth could opt to kill you that very moment or any from that point on, and you know Sarama will not unless you do something ultimately evil later on down the road.  Even if you are Renegade it seems unintelligent to choose Morinth.
Kasumi: I definitely allow Kasumi to keep the greybox.  I'm not the biggest Alliance fan in the first place, and there's no telling how useful the information could be (though I have doubts we will hear about it again.)
Tali: I'm one of those who adore Tali (though not as much as Liara).  This means that the evidence was not given and I Paragon-speeched her way out of the trial.
Thane: Who?
Grunt: I usually screw this one up and have Grunt become angry with me despite that I don't want that.  Still is on my team of course, but he is pissed for a moment.  I still can't recall what option I am suppose to pick to avoid making him upset, but I have a feeling it is not the one connected to the Paragon route... whatever.

Ok, count me in - since I have a 'canon' Male-Shep and a Femme Shep, I'll list 'em both for giggles...

1) Adrienne Shepard

Jacob - Ronald Taylor was locked up and the key thrown away.

Miranda - Got to watch that asari b*tch gun Niket down but revealed herself to her sister.

Garrus - BLAM - Sidonis iz headlis.

Mordin - Maelon was spared, genophage date kept with an eye to assisting the krogan empire recover.

Jack
- Aresh had to outrun a nuke as opposed to a bullet, and we took the Jack Memorial Museum tour.

Grunt
- Let him make his own choices, and thresher maw steaks are now on the menu for a few months.

Tali - Data lied about, exile prevented, peace with the geth encouraged.

Samara - Morinth proved to be even more of a genetic dead-end - SPLAT.

Thane - Kolyat got a right hook and community service.

Legion - Heretic forces rewritten since the Reapers are knocking on our door.

Zaeed
- Refinery rescued, Zaeed smacked about and yelled at, but convinced to give his all to the mission despite Vido's escape.

Kasumi - Adrienne wiped the greybox contents for Kasumi as per Keiji's wishes.

Liara
- Lots of little blue children here we come...

And...

2) Adrian Shepard

Jacob - Ronald Taylor was given a pistol and a chance to redeem himself.

Miranda - Got to watch that asari b*tch gun Niket down but revealed herself to her sister.

Garrus - Talked Garrus out of making the hit - somewhat against form for Adrian.

Mordin - Maelon was ventilated, genophage date kept with an eye to assisting the krogan empire recover.

Jack
- Aresh had to outrun a nuke as opposed to a bullet, and we took the Jack Memorial Museum tour... seemed the right thing to do since Adrian ended up with Jack in the end.

Kasumi - Adrian allowed Kasumi to keep the greybox, probably because he's a bit sentimental at heart.

Nicholas Shepard

Jacob - Ronald Taylor was was left behind to face a jury and executioner of his peers.

Miranda - Niket ventilated by Miranda, encouraged her to talk with her sister.

Garrus -  Sidonis spared, not for Sidonis' or Garrus' sake but for the fact that the assassination was not well thought out - seriously Garrus? An assassination in public, on the citadel, without a silenced weapon? Are you retarded?

Mordin - Maelon was spared, genophage
data kept with hopes to use as a bargaining chip for Wrex's continued uniting of the Krogan.

Jack - Ordered Jack to kill Aresh, Jack refused, Aresh had to outrun a nuke instead.

Grunt - Let him make his own
choices, and thresher maw steaks are now on the menu for a few months.

Tali - Admiralty board received a violent tongue thrashing for wasting Nicholas' goddamn time while the galaxy is at stake, peace encouraged.

Samara - Morinth dead, Nicholas wishes he could have just ventilated Morinth the second she approached him.

Thane - Kolyat got a right hook and community service.

Legion - Geth go boom.

Zaeed - Refinery rescued, Zaeed smacked about and yelled at, but convinced to give his all to the mission despite Vido's escape.

Kasumi - Information is good, we always keep information.

Liara - Promising things one shouldn't...

All of my team are well rounded individuals with no blood on their hands or regret. Kasumi moved on, Legion got his buddies back and Zaeed put revenge behind him. Why, because I'm nice and not insane. Well mostly not insane...

Jacob: Arrested by Alliance. I do things civilized-like!

Jack: No killing Aresh. In his own way, he's as messed up as Jack. But without the base, it's not like he's gonna start up another facility on his own.

Garrus: Spare Sidonis. Sooner or later I'm going to convince Garrus that cold-blooded murder is wrong.

Mordin: Keep Maelon alive. He was trying to do the right thing, even if it was in a horribly twisted and evil way. Held on to cure. Never know when that might come in handy.

Miranda: No shooting Nicket. He was operating on incomplete information. Convinced her to talk to her sister, 'cause, well, it's her sister!

Zaeed: Punched him, stuck a gun in his face, and told him teams work together and follow orders.

Legion: Rewrote geth. I'm still convinved the heretics are indoctrinated geth, and what I was doing was "deprogramming" them.

Samara: Let's see, Justicar who values justice and righteousness over all, who has vowed to follow my instructions until the Collectors are dealt with, or the psychic serial killer?

Kasumi: Don't have Kasumi

Tali: Used paragon line to reveal the entire trial was just a ploy for the admirals to fight their private wars over their geth agendas. They were using Tali, a frakking hero of the Citadel and living proof that quarians aren't all thieves and vagabonds, as a pawn in their machinations. For shame! Charges dismissed. We original crew hafta stick together. But, uh, sorry, Tali, I like you like a sister.

Thane: Stopped Kolyat from assassinating the polititian (shot the gun out of his hand) Put in a good word with Bailey and got him community service.

Grunt: You wanna tell him he's just a token tank-bred? Sorry, we just killed a thresher maw. if Wrex says he's an Urdnot, he's an Urdnot.

Jacob: had his father arrested.

Miranda: Convinced her to not kill Nikket

Garrus: Allowed him to kill Sidonis. Not knowing Sidnos's sad sack story beforehand I allowed him to take the shot because at that point I thought Sidonis to be a remorseless coward who willingly betrayed his team and got them killed.

Grunt: I allowed him to chose whether or not to kill Uvenk.

Jack: Convinced her to spare Aresh to help her move beyond her past.

Mordin: convinced him to not kill Maleon and keep the research data regarding the Genophage cure.

Zaeed: forced him to help me save the workers. I also got his loyalty by convincing him to fully commit to the team.

Kasumi: allowed her to keep the graybox.

Samara: helped her kill Morinth.

Tali: withheld the info that would have implicated her father and convinced them Tali was an asset to the Quarian people.

Thane: prevented Kolyat from killing the corrupt Turian politician by shooting lamp and punching Kolyat.

Legion: I was conflicted, but I chose what I thought was the lesser of two evils and chose to have the heretics rewritten.

Garrus: I let him kill his traitor

Mordin: let him keep the data (he died)

Miranda: let her kill niket and had her speak to her sis

Zaeed: He's sun bathing on Zorya at the moment

Legion: brainwashed those geth and I feel pretty good about it

Samara: Justicars are badass and not vamps

Kasumi: she kept the grey box

Thane: unloyal (I messed up and let Kolyat get his first kill) I didn't want to redo the mission so it stayed. (he died)

Grunt: An urdnot and wrex likes him ya ! (he died)

Tali Z: Me and Tali walked out of that B.S. trial! (or should have been able to)

It's all cheaper in bulk.

How about this, Nightwriter? Jacob's loyalty is the most unique mission in that Shepard does not need to help him make his own decisions in how to live his life, or resolve any life delimmas he's incapable of solving on his own. Shepard is just the taxi driver, which is how most loyalty missions should be.

Yeah but look, two pages of people pouring out bulk answers that no one's reading or discussing.

Jacob's loyalty mission was a large disappointment in that it was another daddy issue/personal mission when it simply should not have been in any way, shape or form.

Showing what I did on my first playthrough, my favorite ending between (). Funnily enough I do my "favorite endings" pretty much every time now, it doesn't matter if my Shep is Para or Ren.

  • Miranda: Spared Niket, didn't seem like a bad guy. Pushed Miranda into talking to her sis.
  • Jacob: Imprisoned the Old Priiize. (Favorite: Hand him a gun with 1 bullet).
  • Mordin: Spared Maelon, kept his research, just in case.
  • Zaeed: Saved workers, Vido escaped, didn't have enugh Paragon to charm Zaeed back. (Favorite: Kill Vido, dead workers, coolest scene ever).
  • Kasumi: (Favorite: Destroy the greybox)
  • Garrus: Moved away at the first chance, sidonis dead. (Favorite: Let Sidonis say his regrets, then move away and let him die).
  • Grunt: Kill thresher maw, kill Worf, profit.
  • Jack: Not really big choices, I let Jack do what she wants.
  • Samara: Kill Morinth.
  • Thane: Got lost and failed to stop the son in time. (Favorite: Do the right thing, save the turian, made Bailey cut the kid some slack).
  • Tali: Handed evidence, Tali unloyal but exonerated. (Favorite: Renegade interrupt, epic speech).
  • Legion: Geth brainwashed (Favorite: Geth Destroyed!)

I agree I think it might have been better if Jacob's dad was dead and we find out that he did all those royally bad things to the crew.  Leaving Jacob to figure that stuff out on his own.

But now I'm curious...what would you have done differently to make it not so disapointing?

Changed the entire thing.

Jacob’s loyalty mission should have been a return to Eden Prime.

Jacob’s opening is, “Yo Shepard, I know I’m supposed to have a daddy issue for you to take care of or something, but Eden Prime is in trouble and the fat cats are sitting on their asses doing nothin’. I’m heading out there. You wanna come?” You rush out there and quickly uncover a plot. The politicians are not helping because the colony is failing and has become politically radioactive.

You and Jacob are co-heroes in this mission; equals. All the way through it you’re stopping to talk about things you see, comparing experiences and reliving the memories of the assault of Eden Prime, realizing you guys only just missed each other during the attack.

Shepard: “I remember the first time I saw a man put on one of those spikes… it was on this very spot. He was still alive…”

Jacob (stiffly): “Smiths. I knew him. He was my unit’s medic. He broke ranks and was looking for his sister. She was one of the scientists.”

Jacob has comments on everyone you met on Eden Prime: Manuel, Dr. Warren, Powell, Cole. He has extensive comments on Ashley and the 212. He says the Alliance/Council gave Eden Prime hardly any recovery aid; Cerberus did. Bringing Legion to the mission is... eventful.

I just feel like they shouldn't dangle personal issues in our face if Jacob isn't even going to talk about them afterward.

If Jacob truly is going to be a unique stabilizing presence with no "issues", hey, why can't we just go save some people together?

Which is the point. I mean he's intended as a buddy character, right?

I like it because it’s a revisit of the driving events of ME1 as well as a great way to get closer to Jacob while also totally breaking the pattern of the other missions.

The mission can lead to discussions about Shepard’s feelings about Eden Prime, and Saren, whom Jacob could have many choice words for – you could actually agree or challenge Jacob’s views on Saren, even bringing up Saren’s suicide for once. You could revisit Jenkins, Ashley, Captain Anderson, Nihlus, and a slew of other people and events that got “left behind” in ME2.

Jacob: It varies. I either let his dad get killed by the Hunters he created or I give him a gun. Sometimes you just want to convince somebody to commit suicide you know?

Miranda: Usually I stop her, because she would be psychologically scarred by it and it would defeat the purpose of the loyalty mission.

Jack: On Xbox 360, convince her to let Aresh go everytime, mainly because I don't have any other persuasion option (See my "ME2 morality system more broken than I thought" Thread). On PC, I usually let him go anyways because the best way for Jack to heal psychologically is for her actually overcome her past, not bottle it up like she would if she killed Aresh. These things need to be confronted, not run from like killing would be.

Garrus: Let Sidonis go because Garrus needed to see the truth behind Sidonis' betrayal since he acted like Sidonis did it out of malice and after he had heard that Sidonis had just been a coward killing him would have made Garrus feel worse. He would have constantly second guessed his decision and it would have eroded his self confidence. I need him able to take up a leadership role in ME3.

Thane: Killed Jorem because he was a criminal and I was a spectre. It may poison some unhappy civilians against me but at the end of the day, they don't have a figurehead to follow.

Samara: Kept her. Not once in 12 playthroughs have I gotten morinth instead. I respect Samara as a character and I like her. I'm not about to kill her just to get Dominate.

Legion: I destroy the base but have a save just before it in the event Bioware punishes the most logical course of action. Several factors determine my decision. First, there is the possibility of failure. Legion says it is a non-zero probability of error. To willingly allow 5 percent of a species to infect the other 95 would be catastrophic. Second, Legion states that he doesn't know how the rewriting will affect his geth, so even if the virus didn't backfire on Legion's geth there may still be unintended side effects that nullify the advantage. At the end of the day, I just don't think the risk is worth the minor reward of 5% (less actually, after the alliance destroyed most of the geth holdouts).

Tali: Either Paragon or Renegade through the trial, depending on whether I am playing on PC or 360. I push for peace because, even based on what Shepard knows at the time, the possibility exists since I know that the geth were justified in retaliating based on Tali's dialog in ME1 and the only thing that suggests they might be a threat is Sovereign's attack on the Citadel and lets be honest, Saren was a loyal Spectre before he came across Sovereign, there's nothing to say that the geth weren't the same way.

Kasumi: Kept it, what relevance does a single secret have to me? I'm already operating outside Council and Alliance control, I already control more military power than the council, and even if the Alliance does get implicated and sanctioned, it doesn't affect me. If that happens, but I convince the council of the reaper threat, everything else is null and void.

Zaeed: I kill Vido. If I can destabilize the Blue Suns, that ultimately helps me more than allowing a plant full of people to die. Honestly, those people don't matter as much as me gaining as much control as I can in order to fight the Reapers. I know it sounds harsh, but I say it's more important to do what I can to up my influence in the Terminus Systems so that Aria will see me as an equal or greater power, thus be willing to ally herself with me, than it is for a few hundred civilians to live.

Mordin: I keep the Data. Besides the moral importance of fixing the genophage, it would be an excellent reward for the Krogan if we survive the war with the Reapers. However, I recognize the importance of keeping them somewhat shackled at this point, they would do more harm than good If there was a population explosion and they decided to go to war with the Galaxy for revenge. To think that they wouldn't is silly. The unnamed krogan on tuchanka that chat while you walk by should be evidence of their intentions.

Grunt: Pretty much let him be his own person. Neutral options for the most part.
