tonyk's ai was only partially implemented officially. You could go for the full thing.

I strongly recommend TonyK's AI. It is almost a different game with it loaded.

By all means try it. It can make the "monsters" a lot more effective and thus make the game more challenging. Also, it's the only thing available. My experience is that it will turn party control into an exercise in cat herding, but your mileage may vary. Sir K is certainly to be commended for his consistent, constantly supported effort, through both NWN and NWN2, to improve the artificial stupid.

Kaedrin's allows a tremendous amount of companion ai control via the companions behaviors tab. You can enforce all kinds of behavior, such as preventing weapon switching completely even if the companion picks up a better one, or never using a ranged weapon.Sieben Elfriend wrote...

Yes, Sir. I've experimented with it extensively over NWN and NWN2, through many versions and it just isn't for me. I prefer a refined mix of the stock AS (which incorporates some of Tony K's features) and good old micromanagement. Please understand that I mean no disparagement of Sir K, in fact I think he is one of the most valuable members of the NWN community. Everyone should try it and decide for themselves.
