Childhood's End- Iron Maiden

Iron Maiden is my all time fave band....but this choice is WAY left field and wouldn't work at all.

I say hire the Faunts to create a NEW song specifically for ME3 credits. M4 Part 2 was perfect for ME1, ME2 was bland, so go back to the original, get a new one.

A new song written by Faunts specifically for the game, imo.

Sounds good to me.
What would be really nice though: Because it is the last part, we should see little scenes (only small on the screen) that show what happens to some surviving characters (in the medium/long run) while the credits roll. That could be Ash/Kaiden being promoted, Garrus joining the spectres, Tali joining the admiralty board, etc. The scenes could vary according to your decisions. I think that would give the credits a nice feel of scope and would be a satisfying outlook for the player.

Mmbop by the Hansons is an obvious candidate

I think Bioware should contact Faunts to make a song just for ME3

I say just bring back M4PtII.

I still get goosebumps when I hear it upon completing ME1 so I imagine it'd be a million times more epic as the final song for the trilogy as well.

Nostalgic reasons and all that.

aussie band: dead letter circus. a lot of their tunes have a similar vibe to the original mass effect end credits song. HEAPS of atmosphere in their music, just listening to the linked track reminds me of mass effect 1. great stuff.

i'm sure they could create something absolutely epic for a final credits on the mass effect trilogy!

An original composition by Wall of Sound. Many people prefer a song like in ME1 but the problem is that songs aren't as timeless. Just take a look at the first Batman movie by Tim Burton. The pop songs may have been good at the time but to a modern audience it sounds like crap.

Fail. The last Batman was forever ago, the first Mass Effect was only a couple years ago, kids are still kids.

I think you guys lack imagination if you want them to use M4 Part II again--it was absolutely amazing, but I do think they can have a new song in a similar vein.

It'd be fantastic if we got different credit songs depending on the major endings of ME3 (like if there's a sad ending where people you know die, or a bad ending where you fail to stop the Reapers, or an uplifting one for defeat at a cost, or the heroic one for the ideal ending and so on).

I'm looking far into the future. The ME1 song sounds good now but the series will turn into a classic. People's opinion about the ME1 song will probably change when they play it again in ten years. An original composition from the main composers is the safest route.

I know ME 1 already had a song by Faunts, but I think their song "Of Nature" would be the perfect way to end the ME series, give it a listen, and think about all that Shepard has been through, all that he/she has accomplished, and saved along his/her adventure. Give it a shot! www.youtube.com/watch
