This is another Faunts song that captures the essence of the Mass Effect universe. Song is called "Twenty-Three".
There's also "M4 Pt I", which is pretty nice also.

Something I think would be really cool is if the credits song was ending specific. Example Shep makes the ultimate sacrifice for the galaxy you'd get a more sad song. If the reapers repeated the cycle of extinction then you'd get a darker ending song. I think that would be so awesome but it wont happen so

In all honesty, I think they should just let Jack Wall go all out and make his own credits song.
Personally, I've been a fan of Poets of the Fall since Max Payne 2 (and recently Alan Wake), and they have plenty of good songs that could work. Like this or this maybe.
I think Faunts was chosen at least partially because they're canadian

I would like to see a different song for each ending and gender. E.g. Renegade Femshep could have American Woman by Guess Who or Kool Thing by Sonic Youth but Paragon Manshep could have something like the original Faunts song... Damn, where did they get the inspiration for that... reminds me of something you'd hear from an 80's sci-fi movie... Probably is a good idea to just ask them to do another song with the same feel - a lot of their other songs don't have that same nostalgic feel and sound full of sorrow like Mogwai or something...

Oooh, this song from Daft Punk is really cool. But that's specifically for the Tron movie... I've pretty much come to the conclusion now that they should just get Faunts on board in a similar way to do a song for the credits (maybe a different one depending on the ending as I've said) or at least get Jack Wall to try.. I'm sure he could manage.

M4 Part I would work in an amazing manner. I honestly loved part II, but after listening to partI and really thinking about mass effect and my experience with it...it fits perfectly. You feel like your floating through space, traveling to the different worlds the game has to offer. Reallllllly atmospheric stuff.
