Mass Effect 2 requires the CD to play, yes?
I already bought it and as a Collector's Edition to boot. I've been constantly playing it and haven't taken it out of my laptop. Experience says that at some point, it might be subjected to too much wear and tear that the CD might not be playable anymore. If that happens, will I be required to buy another Mass Effect CD (which would suck)? or will I be able to ask Bioware or any game seller for another copy?

I just thought of this question on a whim. I didn't really care at first since I thought I might be bored of it after a while but the replayability of ME2 is just enormous. The different classes are just way more fun than the classes in ME1.

Maybe if you registered it in Steam you wont need the disk anymore. Dunno tho, lots of people are having problems with Steaming their copy of ME2.
