I really want one of the new N7 signature shirts and a favorite shirt on the citadel, but im concerned about the shirts shrinking. As a pretty tall guy, I'd like to make sure my larges maintain theyre length. So does anyone have any experience to share? do the shirts shrink too much?

I am 6'7, 220lbs. and the only thing I have gotten from the store (A free XL Jade Empire fleece) had sleeves that went to my mid-forearm and a bottom that sat midway between my navel and xiphoid process.

I dunno if they shrink (I gave the "Men's XL" to my 8 year old brother, who it fits perfectly, and haven't seen it since), but they seem to be made for the short and stubby fans.

I'm 6'4'', 250lbs, abit like a pear at the waist :P. I got the XL size of the Tali and N7 shirts. They suit me farely well and as far as I can tell, they didn't shrink very much or at all after one or two washings...I felt confident enough to order the other 9(?) Mass Effect shirts Bioware was selling at XL. Though not that horrible Enkindler shirt. :P

Charles we're going to make you a custom #1 Troll tee shirt for the holidays. We didn't sell or make the Jade Empire fleece. All blanks we use are are standard sizing that you would find in a retail store.

They are 100% cotton so they will shrink if you wash and warm and use high heat in the dryer the first time through, but no more then any other shirt you own.

So you dont pre-wash your stock? - just curious.

95% of the blanks we purchase are not pre-washed, but the fabric must pass a test on shrinkage of no more then 2.5% so there any shrinkage under normal washing is not an issue.

Oh, because I would obviously know that, based on the fact that I got it from the give-away that included 99% Bioware Store items. Man, I feel dumb. I even asked on this board about the weird sizing when I got it and have used it as an example numerous times when people ask about sizing and have never been told it came from anywhere but the BS. That's my experience with Bioware Store/Bazaar clothing, would you like me to lie about it in the future? A poster asked about sizing, I gave him my experience with an item I had every reason to believe came from the BS. Not really sure how telling someone that a brand's clothing runs small constitutes "trolling."

And I'll take the shirt, as long as it's not $32 with shipping.

Charles, the issue people take with you is that EVERY SINGLE POST you make, you come off as downright insulting to people, usually BioWare.

I'm 6'1" and 210 lbs, would hardly consider myself "short and stubby", and their large fits perfectly. You're certainly ALLOWED to post your experience, but when you throw in the bit about your "8 year old cousin who it fits perfectly", it comes off as insulting. Like, if I were to say "your 8 year old cousin takes a bigger shirt size than me? You need to get his ass to the gym"

I have the Mako tee that isn't around the store anymore, and I'm 6'3" and ~170 lbs. I haven't really noticed any shrinkage at all, but then again most of my shirts are large, and they are all a bit too big on me (but I need the length).

Also, why can't we all just laugh at jokes?

......it was the truth, if it comes off as insulting, then that's too darn bad. MOST of my posts are benign responses to questions or opinions on products. Unfortunately, a number of posters have decided to take issue with every thing I say, regardless of what it is, and I don't have a whole ton of patience for stupidity.

maybe it's because you give negative comments on most of their posts? (if you see that you'll always clash with a certain person, it's better to keep your mouth shut)

I have been ignoring your posts myself for quite a while, but since you had to bring it up, I think there are probably many many reasons for it. One of the biggest reasons is likely the fact that you never post anything positive at all. Seriously, if you are a medical student (which, with your track record I rather doubt that too), I don't EVER want you to be my doctor. You'd make any good news seem like the end of the world.

Most of my comments are neutral-to-positive, there are just four of five of you who love to make a huge deal about every negative thing I do say, so it seems worse.

And my comment wasn't negative at all, I was just giving my story with a little bit of light-hearted humor thrown in. There was another poster who got the JE fleece as well and he told me that he used his size large as a sweater for his German Shepard (my God, what a vicious troll!). The fact is, the fleece is hilariously small, I wasn't mad about it even when I got it, I wasn't going to wear it anyway. How I was supposed to know that the BS did not make it is beyond me.

And choosing to not believe what I say does not make me a liar. This whole thing arose from one situation which both I and the other party involved explained multiple times how it was a completely honest mistake.

And I wouldn't want you as a patient, you're the kind who take "Man, I wish I had a red pen instead of blue" as "I am a puppy killer"

Yes, I made another account months and months before any controversy just so I would be able to defend myself in arguments that I could not anticipate would occur. A+ to you sir.

I fully admit to being an ass sometimes, but you people are beyond unbelievable. The purpose of this forum is to whine about customer service and give opinions on store items. If you don't like hearing either of those things, you should probably find another board.

Oh Charles, you simply can't help yourself, can you? Very well. Once again, you asked for it.

Some time ago, Slim Charles wrote . . .

Got my Aegis litho too today. The packaging was roughed up, but the litho was miraculously fine. Got #2/500!

Maybe it was just me, but the litho looked more cheapy than the ME ones, perhaps it was just the lighting though.

A few pages later, KingofallCosmos wrote . . .

I got #42 Wards and #200-something Korlus, I think they must just grab at random. I did get #2 of the Aegis 7 lithos, so I had my share of luck.
http://social.biowar...ndex/2771796/24

Hmmm, how is it that both Slim Charles and KingofallCosmos received the #2 Aegis litho? Could it be that - oh, I don't know - they are one and the same?

Charles often claims that he plays well with others . . .

I bought 6. I wasn't expecting them to sell so fast and I have at least 4 friends who are dying to get one but probably can't be near a computer right now.

Yet somehow I'm not surprised to find that all this time Charles has simply been playing with himself. Image IPB

The #2 Aegis 7 was part of a litho/cash trade we made. I sold him my Illium (as I have covered about 25 times by now) he sent me Aegis 7, a beat up Garrus, and money. Pretty sure I have gone over this a half-dozen times now. I know you like to selectively read my posts, but maybe paying better attention can keep you from jumping to unfounded conclusions and wasting both of our time.

And about the Normandys, after my order I contacted support and asked them to down-size my order to 4 (as Jedi can tell you, if he feels so inclined). Quite a few people here admitted to buying 3, so I don't see what the problem is.

Wow Charles, you are absolutely shameless.

The post under the username KingofallCosmos clearly states "I got #42 Wards and #200-something Korlus, I think they must just grab at random. I did get #2 of the Aegis 7 lithos, so I had my share of luck. "

Obviously this post was in reference to the Aegis litho received directly from the Visceral store. There was no mention of a transaction with another member. You just forgot that you were posting under your alternate username.

Slim Charles wrote  . . .

All he needs to do is switch username...

While we're on the topic of wasting others' time - you add absolutely nothing positive to the boards, you consistently come off as being both imperious and condescending, and your complaints sound like those of a whiny, petulant child stuck in his mommy's basement.

Yes indeed, A+ for me!

hey hey, all calm down, please. this is not for boards/forums anymore. we should be old enough to know when it's best to keep certain thoughts to ourselves.

(and before someone says anything: I have to admit that I also don't like Charles - perhaps as much as he doesn't like me - and I also don't want him to be my doctor. said this once and never again in public)

Uhhh, KoC DID get it directly from the Visceral store, then sent it to ME as part of a transaction.....I just can't see what's giving you so much trouble here.

And I am always being called out for being negative, and you all cite the same two or three posts where I was negative about something. The VAST majority of what I post is not negative. And when someone asks me for MY OPINION about something, I am going to give MY OPINION, If you don't like MY opinion, then give YOUR opinion, don't call me out for being "negative", I can like what I like and you can like what you like, you don't need to constantly tell me how negative I am just because I don't like a shirt/item/policy/post/picture/litho/animal/person/city.

And stardazzled, everything you post is smug, rude and/or passive-aggressive. So, if you don't care for me, whatever.......but you are right that this is not the place to argue over these things, so everyone take a parting shot at me, and let's just put this to rest. If you want to say something to me, PM me. There is no need for us to keep hijacking topics with this nonsense.

Ok, here's what's giving me trouble.

In reference to the deal above, KingofallCosmos wrote . . .

You guys really need to lay off of Slim Charles. I was the one who bought the Illium litho from, I asked him to put it up on ebay because I did not have Paypal and wanted extra security. We came to a private deal here. He gave it to me for $250 + shipping, way less than he could have got on ebay.
http://social.biowar...ndex/2771796/56

Hmmm, absolutely no mention of an Aegis or Garrus in trade, just an all-cash deal through Ebay.

You just insist on digging yourself a deeper hole.

?_? you are really, really, really grasping at any straw you can get your hands on here. So what? He didn't say what I charged for shipping....must have been an extortionate amount. He didn't say what country I shipped from.....must have been a Hong Kong rip-off of the litho. He didn't say that I didn't threaten his family to get him to buy the litho......I must have done that too. He didn't say he wasn't my alternate account......must be that he is.

I can pretty much guarantee that you can choose any other two posters at random and make just as good a case as to them being the same user as you are doing to me and KoC.
