Re: Thinking like a Corporal. I've known a few guys who are or were Non-coms, and while they run the gamut from great guys to twits, none of them stand out as thinkers of any degree to me, tactical or otherwise. Which is probably why marketing would rather have you think like a general.
Think like a general - fight like a Spartan?

It was more of a comment re: the level of command responsibility.
I freely acknowledge that marketing was trying to express an idea rather than accurately represent the gameplay, but that doesn't mean I/we can't have fun with it.

It is marketing. You don't say what is in the box. You say what you want people to believe is in the box. 'Think like a thinker, fight like a fighter' just doesn't sound that glorious.
You raise a valid point there; it's just that the concept of an general capable of thought is alien to the ex-conscript in me.

Well, yes. It's what we've all been doing all along. Just saying why I disagree with thinking like a Corporal. You know how these things work, it's all association. Five more pages in someone will probably throw in that with all the romance requests, it really should be 'think like Don Juan, fight like Casanova' or whatever.
