I have lvl 7 and the Dragon armor appears on my inventory for free. It's a powerfull item that makes me almost invencible. The question is this: does that items destabilizes the game? what is the appropiate level to run that DLC?

That armor is pretty good for the beginning to mid-part of the game. That is offset by the moderate cost of the gauntlets, boots and helmet. I say you can use it whenever you wish.
