Ok, I've been noticing numerous issues with sound in my game, and i'm trying to figure out if it is because of my soundcard, or if some of my files are messed up. In certain areas, there glitches with sound. However, it only happens in those specific places though, while the rest of the game is fine.

In the Presidium, there are occasional short bursts of static. The background music otherwise plays fine.

In Flux, the music will often get hung up on one note; repeating it over and over. Often, the sound cuts off all together; music, dialogue, gunfire, everything.

On the Mako road between Zhu's Hope and the ExoGeni building on Feros, the Mako makes an unbearable high pitched whistling noise while I am in it.

Why are these occuring? Is there a way to fix them? I have the Steam Download version if that matters.
