Well, so i bought Mass Effect 2 beggining of this year, when i still had my old laptop that really sucked.

Now,
6 months later, i figured id try the game on my new laptop, and when i
opened the game, i couldnt find CD2 or the manual. I registered my
CD Key here on this site, and i need to find out if it is possible to recover my key. If i get the key, EA will
provide me with a digital download. So basically i need it to prove i own the game.

When i press My Games, i can see
Mass Effect 2 PC, but it says "click here to remove registration", is
there a way to get my CD Key? I know BioWare must have it.../../../images/forum/emoticons/crying.png

Sorry, but there is no key storage space on this forum. If you still have you old laptop and if ME2 is still install on it, you can launch ME2 Configuration Utility and select Game option (in the left-hand column) to display your CD Key.



You can also check the following registry key using RegEdit:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Electronics Arts/EA Games/Mass Effect 2/ergc
