This is a shame. I'll still buy it, but I'm severely depressed about the lack of tin case and physical goodies.



I think I will put off buying it until the end of the year in hopes that Bioware releases some sort of ultimate/mega collectors edition.

Well, the SE has the soundtrack, which is what I look most forward to in terms of bonus content (in general). Tin case and other physical goodies would have been nice, though, but this is fine with me. I mean, it's no additional costs, so they can't have many physical changes to the NE.

I suspect it's placeholder art, just like how they changed the ME2 box art before the game came out.

I don't know if that's a ghood thing or not.... they changed one crappy case to a new crappy case. CE was the onkly way to get a good case. Does not look that way for DA2.

The "splatter dragon" logo would have been good.  I *love* the ME2 collector's edition cover art, it's simple but awesome, and it would be great if something like that could be done for DA2.

Seriously, this collector's edition already looks slapdash (no art book?  no physical trinkets?), taking the regular edition cover art and just applying a photoshop filter to it just adds to that perception.

I agree. DAO (both CE and NE) and ME and ME2 CE had fantastic cases. DA2 case looks meh for both editions. Hope Bioware is not getting cheap........

You don't get the beard at first. You must kill the darkspawn that killed Duncan and then you take Duncans beard. You then have the choice to wear it or burn it. Pleese make that a choice Bioware!

I like the DA2 SE cover art. I'd just like it to be made out of special material or have something else, like a different way to open it (e.g. SC2 CE).
