As I have said, we are updating our page with retailers as we get confirmation from the retailers that their pre-order page is ready. Just because you do not see your favorite store or country listed does not mean it is excluded. It just means we haven't updated the page yet. Check with yur local preferred retailer or online vendor to be sure.

THIS IS THE COLLECTOR's EDITION

After January 11, 2011 people will still be able to buy Dragon Age 2, but it will be a standard copy without all the cool free stuff included in the Signature Edition.

So get to ordering.

Why can't you say that in the first page! I just have gone through 7 pages to find this answer......

I'm very confused as to which shops get it, i checked on gamestop and the game is actually called " dragon age 2 signiture edition" but i live in the UK so i can't get that. when i go on amazon however it's just called dragon age 2, is this still the signiture edition?

Soooo..... to get this straight... if i don´t pre-order from one of the shops Bioware has this special agreement i don´t even get the basic game, but have to pay from the beginning, if i want it to have at least the basic characters? Sweet, really... and what a "Thanks" to the fans lol.



Well, i hope you make your deal with amazon.uk too... i´ve preordered the game there (despite my already big sceptism) and if i don´t the the full game (not counting the many many dlcs which will no doubt come anyways) i will cancel the whole thing, just as simply as that.

Consider this as a markerting strategy. BW wants to earn the money they have spent on the game as soon as possible....

If I order DA2 at Gamemania (a Dutch gamestore where you can pre-order DA2), will I get the Signature Edition? Or do I have to order it specifically at Gamestop, Amazon or any of the other listed retailers?

I really hope that I'll be able to get the Signature Edition through Gamemania...

One of the devs said as much, but I don't think anything is set in stone yet.



The saves are already uploaded here, so I can't imagine downloading them onto a different platform would be too difficult, but some confirmation would be nice.

I'm italian and I would love to preorder DA2. Just a question: how will work localization for DA2? Will I be able to play the game in the original language (maybe with subs) even if I buy it in Italy? Or will I be forced to play the game in the translated language like ME2?

Look, can you just let me know when you're selling the whole game (i.e. with all of the DLC already included, like the Ultimate Edition of DA:O)? It's not even about the money, it just doesn't feel right to reuse the characters after the game is already finished and I simply don't have the time or patience to replay it 10 times. I did this with Baldur's Gate II, but that was back when I was in high school and frankly, Baldur's Gate II was a more replayable game than anything you've released since.

So EB Games doesn't ahve a page for DA2 and the only version available in the UK from EA to pre-order is the downloadable (therefore digital?) version.  Since "We have no word yet on digital versions", does that mean we have to wait to pre-order?

They are still updating the retailers as we go. I am sure there will be more places to pre-order soon enough.

I have contacted Game.co.uk to see how they fare on this deal, hope there's no problem there because its where I like to get my games.

Steam would be nice, but a CE? I like my CE's solid in my shelf.
