I am not pre-ordering until, I know I want to buy Dragon Age 2.

Thus, a gameplay video and more information on Dragon Age 2, would be welcome.

So does this count for people who have already pre-ordered?

Good to know Bioware are giving a good reason to pre-order. Now for gameplay information and you'll have me sold.
Only issue i have is that right now, it costs £5 more for the signature edition on GAME. They are the only ones that have it listed so i feel ripped off if a retailer is selling it for £5 more despite bioware saying it's a 'no addiditional cost' deal. Should I wait till later on to see if they will lower the price or should I go to another shop and wait for them to add this signature edition?

I want this available at an actual Canadian retailer, not a US one that wants to charge me a bunch for shipping. Fffffuuuu Canada.

I am impatient and desperate to throw money at BW lol

Digital vendors will be announced when they have the info.  If you do a BioWare poster view of this thread, one of them there Blues says something to that effect.

You should contact Game and ask them why they are charging 5 pound extra for a free thing. Anbd if they dont give you the lower rate Id just go else where. But do me one big favour? Please dont pay those shower off rip off merchants the extra money.

I would never pay £5 for free stuff when the developer gets nothing from that. Support the people doing the work to make the game, not the salesman. Just hope that another place gets it.

If your in the UK you can get it from game, just ordered it, very excited :)

Any idea why GAME lists DA II in two versions, normal and Signature Edition? And why are the versions priced differently when all pre-orders should automatically be Signature Editions (i.e. no other option, no additional costs either according to BioWare)?

Rip off merchants just marked up on something thats free. Avoid them like the plague.

If your feeling in a paragon mood you could make a thread to highlight companies that are trying to mark up on this free promotion.

To Chris Priestly...

Whats Biowares position on companys marking up on this free pre-order bonus?

besides that, Game would cost me more than Amazon UK. So i won´t buy it there.

Having this answered isn't all that likely, but I figure I'll give it a shot. What are the odds that we'll find out anything about required/recommended system specs before January 11th? I'm trying to figure out whether I want to pre-order on the PS3 or on the PC. If I'm going to have to completely rebuild a comp, then PS3 is my way to go, but I'll miss out on screenshots and mods again. On the other hand, if it's upgrade the RAM and video card, I might be able to do that for Christmas!

I feel compelled to ask again (and I suppose I'm hoping for a BioWare response, unless it's covered elsewhere and someone can point me to that). Will we be given confirmation at any point that our pre-orders are the Signature Edition? I ordered through Gamestop on the Signature Edition page, but once you actually go to order it only says "Dragon Age 2" with nothing about the Signature Edition tacked on. I was probably going to pre-order anyway, so this takes care of a step for me, but I'd really like to not miss out on this edition and confirmation would just be a little comforting.

ShopTo are selling it for slightly cheaper than the standard price they also tend to deliver a day before release from my experiance.

I may email their complaints team as they are selling a game promoted as standard price for a higher price. I will just link the bioware signature edition page and try to see what they do. Won't hold my breath about them actually doing anything but you get nowhere by not trying.

Well wasn't that special...sent my husband to EB Games to pre-order and guess what? They had no idea, and it's not in the computer. Sent him 30 miles out of his way today so he's not a real happy camper. *sigh* I'd do it gladly but I"m still temporarily incapacitated (see self portrait in sig).

Next time, please advertise stores that really have it available, thank you, thank you very much.
