haha I can't believe GAME is charging for the free upgrade..
The funny thing is that I contacted their support earlier today just to know if they would be complying with the free upgrade once we pre-order the game. At the time they only had the normal case in display. And they replied that they didnt know yet. I guess they know now huh? Damn freeloaders, realy cheap action.
I will obviously contact them again and let them know that Im certainly not happy with their greed.

Game is clever. They are selling the Signature Edition at the same price as the normal edition, but they have given the normal ones a discount... so technically, they have done nothing wrong. I've sent them a complaint

I see DA: O Ultimate Edition, but no DA 2.
I'm going to assume that if I just wait patiently someone will make it available to Canadian retailers...right?
Right?

GameStation have done the same thing (I'm hopeing Play.com will also have the Signature Edition but at normal price), its really bad considering this is supposed to say thanks to the fans, not hehe we're going to srew over the UK for about 5-10 quid more (depending on the platform)Fireblader70 wrote...

I've pre-ordered from Amazon.co.uk, but I'm not set on it yet, as it's easy to cancel if something comes up... at least I'd get free international shipping from them. I'm considering ShopTo.net as suggested by some posters earlier, but I'm not totally sold on it yet, as I'll need international delivery, and I've only got experience of that with Amazon.co.uk.
Yes, most major retailers should update their info next week or so.Thomas9321 wrote...

Local stores in my country won't bother with this. With any luck, they'll have the standard version a month later after release....

Do you have to pay in advance? I preordered from Sweden and we dont have to pay anything, so if I change my mind in february or so, I dont have to pay anything. Is it the same for you?

A couple of UK online stores have them (as far as I am aware only Game/GameStation, but as someone else has pointed out its basically the same company), no what some of us are complaining about is that their charging extra for the Signature Edition while chargeing the normal price for the regular edition.Gebut wrote...
people, give Bioware som time to pread the message to all the shops around the world. it has only been a couple of days, and we got plenty of time until january. If you are worried that a UK shop hasnt yet shown the signature edition, give them a few more days before ordering the US edition. im sure they will start selling the right edition in the next couple of weeks
EDIT: just noticed that ShopTo.net have it, and charge it slightly cheaper then GAME/GameStation's regular editions lol

Okey, that sucks if they do that. hopefully its a missunderstanding and they will fix that.

Depends on the stores but usualy pre-order is a purchase, therefor you need to pay. You probably only reserved a copy for yourself. Which youll need to claim when time comes, or else I believe they will sell it to others.
Just a guess.

No, they will ship it unless I cancel my order. might be different laws.

There are some exceptions, but generally speaking you don't have to pay pre-orders in advance. At least not with Amazon.co.uk anyway. Some Finnish retailers have the same policy.Gebut wrote...

Just to throw more fuel on fire, gameplay.co.uk are doing the same. That's no surprise though if you check GAME's website, "Gameplay (GB) Limited, trading as Game.co.uk" and the same for GameStation. Same address and VAT registration.
I assume "GAME", "GameStation" and "Gameplay" are all part of "GAME group plc".
