a) the UK shops missunderstood and think its a usual Collectors Editions and Bioware will charge them more for every signature copy sold.

they understand but see a way to make more money from their customers.

I wonder if there is any law stopping them from doing

Unfortunately I don't think BioWare/EA has much control what the retailers do with the Signature Editions (although I don't know for sure)

Either way I'm just hopeing that Play.com will be added to the list of UK retailers that have it, if not then I'll just pre-order it from ShopTo.net whos prices currently stand at £27.85 for PC and £38.85 for PS3/360 (I've just not pre-ordered from them before, so I don't know how good they are )

I'd be suprised if DA2 is finnished by January 11th when its release date is in March, most reviews of AAA games are published about a week, max, before the games release date (but you might get some previews)

Ah the good ol' (cough) uplay system , its the reason why I cancelled my preorders on Assassins Creed 2 CE and Splinter Cell Conviction CE.
I am glad the Cerberus Network and the Dragon Age version of the CN are not that bad.

Your point only  works if you pay in advance when preordering. myself can cancel my order one day before release if I think the game is crap, and I wont lose any money.

Disk is just crap to pile up. As a matter of fact, my DVD drive broke down 4 months ago. I have no intention of buying a new one
