Yeah, I made a post earlier hoping the same about the new soundtrack. The Dragon Age: Origins CE soundtrack was just insulting when they started selling the full-length recording at iTunes and Amazon.Toa_of_Pi wrote...
I was originally going to wait to purchase the game, in canse an ultimate edition with all of the DLC came out later. However, this deal is just too good to pass up. The main thing that hooked me was the inclusion of the game's soundtrack (which I'm hoping will be the full soundtrack, as opposed to the incomplete soundtrack that was included with deluxe editions of DA:O). Thank you, BioWare, for providing such incredible deals for loyal fans. This is by far the best pre-order bonus I've ever seen, and well worth the price of not waiting for a sale to buy the game.
As for the price, I agree - no extra cost for a Signature/Collector's Edition is great. I was fortunate enough to find a good retailer, but most others I've seen seem to be trying to rip people off by selling the standard and Signature Editions separately, with the SE obviously being more expensive. I mean, if all pre-orders are automatically SEs how can they even offer a pre-order option for the standard edition at this time?

It won't be full if it's anything like the size of DA:Os soundtrack. This is the case with most cinematic and game soundtracks. They simply pick the best ones and put on the CD (or download). However, just like DA:O, the full soundtrack will probably be obtainable right from the game, though it will be in one single, giant file that is over 5 hours long. hehe

I'm still on the fence about preordering, myself. I just have a feeling there will be a proper CE announced soon. :\\\\\\\\

As I have said, we are updating our page with retailers as we get confirmation from the retailers that their pre-order page is ready. Just because you do not see your favorite store or country listed does not mean it is excluded. It just means we haven't updated the page yet. Check with yur local preferred retailer or online vendor to be sure.
Oh and:
THIS IS THE COLLECTOR's EDITION
After January 11, 2011 people will still be able to buy Dragon Age 2, but it will be a standard copy without all the cool free stuff included in the Signature Edition.
So get to ordering.

Hello everyone! This maybe a foolish request, but could it be possible to have an official confirmation that the Signature Edition is available for pre-order in Italy at the online shops http://multiplayer.com/ and www.gamestop.it??

BioWare will update the official list of stores sometime in the coming weeks, but there are so many individual stores that not all of them will be on the list. This doesn't mean that you can't order from the stores that aren't on the list.
Dragon Age II SE Owners group is now open for business! To qualify for membership: pre-order Dragon Age II from a retailer participating in the Signature Edition campaign before January 11th 2011.

That doesn't mean that EA won't announce a Super Ub3r Awesome Diamond Edition of Darkspawn Vanquishing before the game comes out. They are pretty well known for marketing like that.Archmage Silvery wrote...

I've preordered via play.co.uk a few days ago, so I hope they'll be fair enough to update it to SE for me.
I preordered with play too, they will update, they tend to be a little slower then most I find though so dont worry

amazon.DE has now lowered the price for the standard edition to more reasonable 46,90 Euro, while the SE costs 54,99:

So whatever the intentions of Bioware/EA were, the shops don't give a crap.

That's probably a good thing since it's supposed to be an automatic upgrade for any DA:II orders prior to 11th Jan (according to the FAQ, that is). I'd be more concerned if they started listing it separately for a higher price like the other sellers that've already been mentioned.PandemicFear wrote...
Apparently Amazon in the US is avoiding putting up the Signature Edition.

It does seem to have been a bit of a fiasco. Let's just hope it was a breakdown in communication and that it gets sorted out; sadly, it could leave Bioware with egg on their face even though it seems it's the retailers who are being opportunistic about it.Gerudan wrote...
So, the SE seems to be a huge failure, as it would seem.
