Well I will definitely put down my space ruples for this one, as long as it is the most ultimate of ultimate editions. I will not  be out-ultimafied when it comes to Dragon Age.

Somehow that seems way too early to preorder. What if the game doesn't live up to its promises at all ? There's still a lot of time for a lot of things to go wrong...

So...is this the Collector's Edition? Because I want the CE. I mean, I want this, too, but I can only get so obsessive before my pockets empty. It doesn't seem to be, since it's just a preorder bonus (but a very cool one).

I just got off the phone with the guys at my local Game Stop and they knew nothing about the upgrade to the Signature Edition ... yet. But, sometimes they are the last to know. I was told, I could put only $5 down now, and pay the rest as I go. But as long as I do the pre-order by the date given to us by Bioware, they will make sure we get any and all of the promotions available for the game. So what I'm thinking is the upgrade to the Signature Edition is an Exclusive Case, a copy of the game, and a few Download cards ... that will have all the goodies for us.



My one question for someone at Bioware is ... are you planning on releasing a Collectors edition of the game, or is the Signature Edition it? Well, it for now. And if there is a Collectors edition, could we pre-order that and get the same DLC that we would with the Upgrade to the signature edition? Or will the collectors edition include even more exclusive items then the Signature edition?



We all know Bioware will release an Ultimate edition of the DA2 a year and a half after it's release date with all the available content, less the special items we would have gotten if we pre-ordered.

I just verified with the EA store that my existing pre-order will be upgraded to signature. Woot! I LOVE extra goodies. I'm such a sucker for this kind of thing.



On the collector's edition, I think that they will announce a collector's edition after January 11th and it will contain the exact same content as the signature edition. This is just the cynical side of me acting out.

Guys just an FYI if you preorder from amazon it's really easy to just go on your account and cancel if they do announce a collector edition that's different from this. Just place the preorder and you'll be good before Jan 11 and then if they announce something different then just cancel since the game doesn't actually come out for a couple months after that.

Ill be pre-ordering this as soon as Amazon or someone puts up that the pre-order gets upgraded or has a distinct area for the signature pre-order. I just dont want to pre-order and end up getting the basic game.

I had previously pre-ordered, but later canceled the pre-order; simply because I am not sure that it will meet my expectations. I want to see the game in action first, not some over-the-top trailer. I am tired of paying for PC games and then not liking them. It's like throwing away $50 to $70 bucks.

They really should have announced what the collector's edition will be before they announced pre-order bonuses. I know I will not pre-order until I learn what the collector's edition is.



Speaking of the collector's edition hopefully isn't the same as the Signature edition. I hope they go all out. Don't get me wrong DA:O and ME:2 had decent collector's editions. But I hope they go crazy like Fallout:NV, Bioshock 2, God of War 3 or Halo Reach. Those just feel to contain more goodies. DLC is nice but physical things are so much more awesome.

I, like others, would like to know if this takes the place of the Collector's Edition, or if that will also be another package.  I hope there is only this one extra edition, personally.

I so want to get this!! I seriously can't wait until it comes out! The waiting is so going to drive me nuts. I am wondering like many others here if this is going to be the only Collector's Edition or if there's going to be a standard one coming out. I got the CE for Dragon Age: Origins and it was the best purchase I have ever made, seriously. <3

Like many others I'm temped to pre-order it, but going to wait until we hear if there is or isn't going to be a CE edition somewhere down the line......it would be nice to know is there is or isn't before the 11th January......

Depending on future news, I plan to pre-order this. I was kind of hoping the day-of-release edition would have this stuff, like DA:O did with Shale and the Blood Dragon Armor. So we shall see what the upcoming months hold.
