... Bah. All this commotion makes me think of the following: "Capitalism is a dirty business." The first time I actually agree with Niko...

That statement makes the presumption that the Netherlands operates as a Capitalist society.

Well, we aren't a capitalistic society... More of a parliamentary democratic constitutional monarchy (why couldn't they invent one single effin word for this...?) and a decentralized unitary state. That's not even close to capitalism.
Durrrrrrr

Since it seems to be one of the very few EU countries with DA2-SE  pre-order problems, (and a banking system that makes the default retail payment transfer system in use OUTSIDE the country less than practical for many) one might be tempted to think... otherwise.

Well, put plainly...

IT SUCKS *ahum*

And I don't think that it's going to change anytime soon.

If you're referencing to credit cards with thinking otherwise, it really isn't going to happen. Unless I can convince some of my relatives. They do have a credit card, but I fear that when the game comes out and I pre-order it through them, I won't have the game before the summer holidays. And I actually would prefer to have the game before the summer holidays.

Uhh this offer ofc it is worth it! You are paying for normal dragon age 2 but you get the collectors edition for free how can that not be worth it?

Put my order in. :)

There isn't going to be a surprise in finding that various retailers have various different, additional bonuses, will there? Meaning, will I regret going with Gamestop instead of Amazon or Game.com or such because of different possible other pre-order packages offered through those retailers?

I preordered but the people working there seemed to know about it but not too much about how it's actually going to work....rather concerning. Not sure if it's a problem with that eb games or a lack of information for all of them.

It's a longstanding tradition of Bioware to give different retailers different bonus items, so I think the chances of this happening with DA2 are very high.

That, among other things, is why I'm waiting till the last possible moment.

Haha, it would be so sucky if you're rolling a mage and you receive an epic Zweihänder from Gamestop.
I do have to say that this Signature Edition (for the same price as normal one) pre-order is a bit better offer then seemed at first. I thought it was a 'bit more content' addition if you blindly shove in money.
Now that it's the actual special edetion with soundtrack and extra stuff (and with gameplay footage hitting the web) the choice becomes easier.

Now if only there was a better payment option....

It's more like "If there was only a better retailer..." for me.

Still no Steam-related news? If not, what's so difficult in coming out and saying whether or not it'll be available (in time)? Would save me the hassle of bothering to follow this game anymore if it isn't.

Since i am not from uk but i am european i preordered from play.com, the only site that is not national (it is not .uk, and they bother to put prices other than in pounds) and gives me more confidence of actually getting the game. I had no problem preordering.

EA.com sent me a 25% off coupon for my birthday so I decided to go with them for the digital download version. I'd normally wait for Steam, but hey saving 15 bucks is nice too.

I really would like someone at Bioware officially announce the system requirements for DA2.I would not like the idea of discovering that maybe my PC is not supported the very last day!....Don't know i play DA at maxed settings without problems but i'm still not sure about the graphic card for DA2!!!....Bioware...could you please officially announce the System requirements so people can decide if preorder the signature edition is worth????? It would be fair...Thank you ^^

And this is why I prefer consoles. Much cheaper and a hell of a lot easier in the end. Building a PC can be expensive as hell, much too expensive for my budget. And you can never really know for sure if your PC will run a new game without problems until they tell you the system reqs. And if it doesn't fit those system reqs, you have to spend even more to upgrade the computer so it will. It's all way to much trouble than it's worth to me. I'll stick with consoles thank you.

I prefer controllers to keyboard/mouse controls anyway.

Geeze...I don't think owning a PC is that much of a hassle--nor is upgrading it.  I've had a computer for 5 years and I've upgraded once (video card and added more ram).  I think the mods are worth it :)

Still, whatever floats your boat.

Waiting on Steam....Steam or no pre-order :(

Bioware, it's already November and nothing here in Brazil.

What's up?

Why I need to import?

Can't answer the second question, but as to the first: BioWare doesn't control the distribution of their products.  EA  are responsible for that, and even more so when it comes to the international channels.  (Not that it would hurt for BioWare to remind EA that there are parts of the world outside the EU and NA, but we've seen that they've already done that.)

Asking the same question here every week isn't going to get any action.

But why doesn't EA know then to witch areas there going to deliver the signature edition?

People and store have asked EA, but they apperently don't know (and/or say you have to ask somebody els)

Stores over here don't know either. And I live in the EU. Just went and ask for it when I pre-ordered Cataclysm.
I think that there's much demand for this Signature Edition. Especially pre-orderiring it. You'll get additional content as well....now if we here in the EU could actually buy it using our more comman bank-card system.
This way it's only accessable to North Americans and the few people in Europe who do have a credit card.

Will there be a Collector's edition when DA2 is released? One that includes everything there is for Signature Edition? Most especially the bonus character and mission.

Where I come from there was no retailers at all having any Signature Edition. If I do order from overseas (NA, EU) it's going to be the exact same cost as buying Collector's Edition here, when totalled with shipping cost. So I might give this a skip. It's likely there will be, but please, can a dev confirm?
