With every passing day, I don't feel like waiting for Gamemania to get this offer.

Meh. Next time I go to my uncle, I'll grab his credit card and work out some magik on amazon.com. :wizard:

Read a thread before you post ;)

You can pre-order it from 2 shops in the United Kingdom. It will be shipped to them, and in 2-5 days (3 according to most people here) and some extra money you'll have it yourself.
The main problem is, you'll get it 2-3 days later then normal (which means it's in the shops and you are still waiting) and you'll need a credit card to pre-order it. The normal European Bank-cards don't work.

Also, most gameshops in Europe don't know if they can pre-order it as a shop yet. I'm from the Netherlands and the biggest game-shop here couldn't pre-order it for me. Same goes for someone from Hungary and Brazil. All relatively big countries.

Amazon.de already has it for sale but they don´t do upgrades, you have to select the signature edition yourself while you preorder. For some time they charged more for the SE, but right now the SE is even cheaper than the regular edition. And there is a dev post in this thread with a list of known retailers, just click on the blue Bioware logo in the topic overview to just see posts from Bioware.

Very good. Not a bad deal at all. Pre-ordered It today :3

I recommend buying it from play. They always ship fast, no damage to the sent item(s) and the prices aren't bad.

Posted Image Don't understand.  How/why would the distribution method make any difference at all in this case?

So far only at EB, but they charge 10 bucks more than everyone else.

EDIT: Oh, they just added it to Amazon, nevermind.

I just locked in my pre-order for the PC version of DA2 at Best Buy!! It's the only store I know of, that sells it for 50 bucks. Also the free shipping for the holiday season sweetened the deal even more. Now I wait B)

I've skimmed the thread and didn't notice anything mentioned about this, and I hate to be a dork on my first post, but there are some severe errors in the FAQ on the pre-order page, in the "European countries" list.  Specifically:

It lists the UK, but not Ireland. This is a common mistake, but still annoying to see. (Of course, if the game isn't available for pre-order in Ireland, then never mind.)

But less understandably: it lists Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.  As part of Europe.  That's George W. Bush geography fail right there.  From the beginning of his presidency.

Well they might have misstyped Autstria <=> Autstralia. They might be ignorant of New Zealand but there is no excuse for thinking South Africa is part of Europe :D

Wel a lot of people from the VS doesn't understand there is more to the world. Maby whe should sent Bioware (even though there in Canada and I thought those had a better understanding) a world map so they can find out there is more to this world

Bioware, request from a person stuck in Asia until July next year, please let us preorder in Singapore! Otherwise I'll have to ask my mum to preorder it in the US and have it shipped here, which would probably be more expensive than that $20+ content, and it'd take longer to get here. x.x

LOL!  I think the critiques of BioWare's (apparent) lack of geographic saavy are missing the point.  Those lists reflect the distribuiton agreements they have in place, and the countries for which a particular distributor has responsibility.  It is updated as those distributors confirm additional retail outlets.

So "South Africa" happens to fall under the European distributors area, (I presume because the market will not yet support an exclusive "African" distribution agreement) and is added to that list without regard for its location on the planet!

(Oh, and of course it's EA's  distribution arrangements we're talking about.
BioWare doesn't have much direct control over that end of things... Posted Image )

South Africa always falls under the eu distribution channels. Even for steam our releases dates are scheduled according to the eu/uk ones and our payments go through their Londen section.

EA actually does have a local office here .
