BW can you pleae release a demo before the SE preorder deadline.

This can help people who arent sure that they will like the changes made know if we should get the game or not.

I also would like a demo but there is no chance of having a demo before the SE deadline, because it ends in January and the game itself is supposed to be realease in March. Companies do not release demos so far in advance of the release date.

Considering steam's user interface and community support, yeah it's better than some download manager that just has your games. Steam is an actual platform. Also, being more popular could be an indication that it is indeed superior.

I 100% agree with you about the profits however.

i was gonna wait to pre-order on amazon while i was doing my christmas shopping, but lo and behold... i get on there today and it says it's no longer available for purchase on amazon when i was just looking at it YESTERDAY! wtf?! bioware, do something about your amazon posting... it's my main shopping preference.

BioWare made a big mistake when they sided with EA.

EA must have had a real **** good offer to get BioWare in their pockets.

Probably only going to get on steam with days to go for the SE closing date. This is all a clever ploy to get people to use ea instead of steam. I just want to know why the other digital sub got it earlier though, why is only steam excluded?? Is EA that scared of steam??

Also it would be wonderfull if EA could think of putting the SE on all their regions shopping sites....

EA has (so far as I know of) a digital edition on all there regions shopping sites.



Steam is not the only one being excluded from the SE edition. It looks like EA made only deals with a very select few distributors for the SE edition. I would think that steam pre-orders will be only available after 11 January.



It looks like they're not actually giving the SE to every pre-order, but want to make extra profits them self and reword a select few distributors they have a good relationship with.

and if so will i be able to change the language in-game

Edit: The answer seems to be yes and no in order. Well i cancelled it.

Can anyone recommend a good place to pre-order the english version with international delivery.

Why not order it from Amazon uk? I did that. Ok, one has to wait about two days longer for delivery, but I think that it is worth it for having the original voice-overs.

I would have ordered the game from EA download manager, but they actually only sell the German version over the German store. This is really annoying, because they offered the English versions of Dragon Age and Mass Effect before, with no problem.

I actually like downloading games, because you don't have to juggle the discs all the time, but having the original voice-over is even more important to me. Ah, well - EA store lost my custom this time.

I'm not so bothered by the special preorder edition not being available on steam - I mean EA really wants to push their store or what have you.

I'm just worried as to if I buy a copy from amazon or the EA store that I will be unable to import my save from Dragon age: origins to have the choices I've made show up in Dragon age 2. Does anyone know if this is true or not?

Edit: I mean unable to import because I have the steam version of dragon age: origins.

Yeah, I noticed this too.  I would prefer to pre-order from Amazon, so this is disappointing.

Some info, even a denial, in regards to Steam would be great. I don't want a hard copy of my game, and I have been using steam for years, so the answer is rather important to me. I'm sure there are plenty of others who are interested in the response as well.

No there is no dragon age 2 on their africa/asia digital shop. Dragon origins,deluxe,awakening and ultimate edition but no mention of da 2.
