I'm planning to pre-order this week.. Can any Australian gamers recommend anywhere?

Ozgameshop seems to be the cheapest online but I don't know if I want to wait for delivery.. Has anyone ordered from JB Hi-Fi or EB?

After the wonderful UE of DA:O and despite knowing that the SE of DA2 is in fact its CE, I wonder if I should just wait for a UE of DA2.



I'm playing DA:O for the first time. Surely it'd keep me plenty busy until a possible UE of DA2 might surface, right?

Another vote for Steam, here. I am moving away from boxed games and going all digital. I chose Steam last year as my main choice so I didn't have to download games from multiple sites.

Rest assured I would never insult any fellow gamer like that. Though there are some people in this world I would certainly classify as "neanderthal" or "sub-human". Gangsters, serial killers, mobsters, etc. You get the point. 

EDIT: Also, and most especially: Rapists, men who are abusive to women.....those kinds of people definitely classify as Neaderthal or sub-human. 

But now we're getting off topic.

I preordered the SE last week from Game. It would be nice if we could know if there will be a more expensive Collectors Edition too of some description though. Some of us might like to change our preorders ;o

Can't really afford to be paying more than regular price for special versions of games but i'm willing to do it for Dragon Age and Mass Effect.

So we all know the recent trend has been this regarding DLC or Characters that were in the game but were cut before gold for whatever reason:



Buy brand new regular copy, receive online code and character (Shale or Zaeed)



Is the new trend that this is reserved for Collectors or Special edition copies of the game (Dragon Age II and forward)?

The SE *IS* the CE.  See Chris Priestly's post on (I think it's) page 3 of this thread.

from the guinea islands and with a green hat but pink socks has been answered.

But 3 people asking about a mac version of the signature edition have not

received a single reply, as far as I can tell.



Will there be a mac version of the signature edition, eventually?

The mac port of DAO is excellent for what it is and it would be

a great shame if the signature edition were not available for

mac users, even if perhaps somewhat delayed. It sounds great.

BioWare outsources the porting of its games onto the Mac platform to TransGaming. 
TransGaming decides IF  they'll take the project, and WHEN  they'll get around to it....
(Let's just say that they haven't made an effort to match, or even predictably follow, the PC release schedules...)

Thanks for the reply, makes sense to see it that way and not have any expectations I guess.
I wasn't aware of the fact that TransGaming carries the risk of the port. I Thought they work
on behalf of BioWare, but yes, if it is outsourced that is, sadly, another matter entirely.
